Itinerary: The order of the itinerary is
designed to allow gradual adjustment to the
Uros reed islands, Lake Titicaca
altitude while taking in the key sights of Peru.
Currently all departures will fly to Peru via
Madrid.

Optional rail journey: On day 8 it is possible
to travel to Puno aboard the stylish Titicaca
train. The journey takes just over 10 hours and
does not include stops at archaeological sites.
A three-course lunch and afternoon tea are
served on board. The supplement to take the
train is from £115.
Peruvian Amazon + tour

Before the tour it is possible to explore the
natural wonders of the Peruvian Amazon in
the area around Puerto Maldonado. Stay in
a jungle lodge and seek out toucans, black
caimans, giant otters and monkeys.

Days 2-3: Fly to The Amazon
Fly to Puerto Maldonado and take a boat to the
Inkaterra Hacienda Concepcion for 2 nights
(individual bungalow). Explore the unique
rainforest ecosystem on shared excursions

Day 4: Fly to Lima
Return to Puerto Maldonado and fly to Lima to
join the group. (B)
