Espresso Martini
The Ingredients:
Premium Vodka | Kahlua | Cold Brew Coffee Concentrate | Spiced Chocolate Bitters | Demerara Syrup | Sea Salt
The Serve: Pour into a shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into your chilled glassware & garnish with roasted
coffee beans.
The Story: A modern invention. Made for the first time in 1983 when Dick Bradsell, barman at the Soho Brassiere in
London was asked by a customer for a drink that would “wake her up”. The espresso machine was right beside Dick’s bar
top and vodka was particularly popular in the 80s. He knew what to do.
ABV 19%

Daiquiri
The Ingredients:
Plantation 3 Stars Rum | Organic Citrus Formula | Cane Sugar Syrup | Difford's Daiquiri Bitters
The Serve: Pour into a shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Strain to a glass ‘frozen’ from the freezer. Garnish with a lime
wheel or forgo garnish altogether.
The Story: The winning combination of citrus, sugar and alcohol has been cited as far back as the 16th century; a
medicinal ‘cocktail’ to ward off scurvy and ill health among seamen. Despite this, the Daquiri has been credited to one
man: American Jennings Stockton Cox in 1828. Whilst working near the Cuban mining town of Daiquiri, Cox adapted the
recipe of the local drink ‘Canchánchara’; a blend of rum, lime, honey and water. His colleague FD Pagliuchi sealed the deal
on the Daiquiri name and a classic was born
ABV 27.5%

Negroni
The Ingredients:
Premium London Dry Gin | Cocchi Vermouth Di Torino | Campari | Sea Salt
The Serve: Pour into a mixing glass with ice and stir briskly for 30 seconds. Strain into a chilled tumbler with ice and
garnish with the zest or wedge of an orange. Alternatively stir with ice directly in the glass.
The Story: It’s 1919, Florence, Italy. The flamboyant Count Camillo Negroni sits at his regular seat in the Casoni Bar on
Tornabuoni Street. He asks the bartender for more kick in his Americano (a drink comprising Campari, Sweet Vermouth
& Soda). The bartender ingeniously swaps the soda with Gin and the rest is history. Albeit until recent years when a
descendent of the Negroni family contested there ever being a Count Camillo Negroni in the family Genealogy.
ABV 28%

Margarita
The Ingredients:
Premium Silver Tequila | Cointreau | Organic Acid Blend | Linden Leaf Lime | Water | Agave Syrup | Sea Salt
The Serve: Pour into a shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Lightly salt the outside rim of your glass with a lime
wedge if you choose. Strain into a chilled glass.
The Story: There’s a treasure trove of tall tales surrounding this elusive cocktail, many evolving wives or girlfriends
named ‘Margarita’. Indeed the name was notably popular in America in the 1930s and 40s. What we do confidently
know is that ‘Margarita’ is the Spanish word for Daisy, and Daisy was a category of cocktails, popular in the early 20th
century, consisting of a base spirit, liqueur and citrus element.
ABV 33%

Old Fashioned
The Ingredients:
Premium Bourbon | Coconut Water Simple Syrup | Angostura Bitters | Orange Bitters | Sea Salt
The Serve: Pour into a mixing glass with ice and stir briskly for 30 seconds. Strain into a chilled tumbler with ice and
garnish with the zest of an orange. Alternatively stir with ice directly in the glass.
The Story: The Old Fashioned wasn’t always old. During the mid 1800s the drink was certainly fashionable, known
simply as a ‘Whiskey Cocktail’ consisting of whiskey, sugar, water and bitters. Toward the end of the 1800s, amid the
popularity of new and exotic cocktail ingredients, bartenders tweaked the established formula of the Whiskey Cocktail.
This provoked an older generation to demand the ‘Old Fashioned’ version, unknowingly cementing an enduring name.
ABV 36%

Manhattan
The Ingredients:
Premium Bourbon | Antica Formula Carpano Vermouth | Cherry Liqueur | Angostura Bitters | Sea Salt
The Serve: Pour into a mixing glass with ice and stir briskly for 30 seconds. Strain into a chilled empty glass and garnish
with the zest of an orange or a Maraschino cherry.
The Story: A very popular story goes that the Manhattan cocktail was created at the Manhattan Club in New York City
in 1874; invented by Dr. Iain Marshall for Lady Randolph Churchill (mother of Winston Churchill) at a banquet held in
honour of presidential candidate Samuel J. Tilden. However this very likely didn’t happen, given that Lady Randolph
was in England at the time, giving birth to Winston.
ABV 33%
