people who have mobility issues to access the best<br />

products <strong>and</strong> services to make their lives easier...<br />

Making Life Easier, has its own car park at 50 The Mount, close to<br />

the town centre in <strong>Taunton</strong>. Inside the showroom there is plenty of<br />

space to display wheelchairs, power chairs, scooters <strong>and</strong> rise <strong>and</strong><br />

recline chairs for people to ‘try before you buy’. There is also ample<br />

space for the on-site workshop to offer repairs <strong>and</strong> servicing.<br />

In <strong>Oct</strong>ober 2020 Lizzie Biggs, a local businesswoman bought<br />

Making Life Easier. Lizzie is determined to build on the already<br />

excellent reputation the business has.<br />

Lizzie says “From personal experience, I know that we often start<br />

talking about needing help, well past the point when help was first<br />

needed. When we need assistance with day-to-day activities, due to<br />

a physical impairment, we find there are so many “workarounds”.<br />

Take my much loved, late father as an example. His legs would<br />

swell at night. He really needed a profiling bed. What he used,<br />

was a few old pillows (which would fall off the bed when he turned<br />

over). What about my gorgeous great Aunt? She would sleep in her<br />

chair downstairs, but what she needed was a stair lift. How about<br />

my very much alive <strong>and</strong> kicking mum? She needed an electric can<br />

opener. What she did, was change br<strong>and</strong> of soup!” Lizzie went on<br />

to explain “I wish I had known about mobility scooters, when my<br />

darling Mother-in-law found walking any distance, too difficult. I<br />

wish I had bought my dad a profiling bed <strong>and</strong> a bath lift. I wish I had<br />

researched stair lifts for my Aunt instead of accepting she could just<br />

sleep downstairs. I know about them now <strong>and</strong> I want you to know<br />

about them too.”<br />

even been known to talk you out of that expensive scooter as you<br />

may not need it yet!<br />

DELIVERY - We provide free local delivery on larger items. Upon<br />

delivery, we make sure your purchase is put together properly <strong>and</strong> in<br />

full working order before we leave. Need another training session?<br />

No problem, we can do that while we’re on site too! For details on<br />

other delivery options, please just ask.<br />

AFTER SALES SERVICE - Unlike the Internet or buying from a<br />

magazine, we are local to you. You can visit us, call us or email us.<br />

We will be able to sort everything locally. We also offer a follow up<br />
