6. Under Mirror Type, select an option.
a) Optional: Click View > Hide/Show to view the bounding box, center of mass,
or origins in the graphics area.
Center of bounding box
The distance between the
mirror plane and the center
of the bounding box is
equal for the seed and the
mirrored instance.
Center of mass
The distance between the
mirror plane and the center
of mass is equal for the
seed and the mirrored
instance.
Component origin
The distance between the
mirror plane and the origin
is equal for the seed and
the mirrored instance.
Pattern Driven Component Patterns
When a Pattern Driven Component Pattern uses a Hole Wizard feature as the driving
feature, you can align the patterned instances to each hole axis.
In the Pattern Driven PropertyManager, under Driving Feature or Component, you
can select an alignment method when you select a hole wizard feature as the driving
feature:
Align to holes
Aligns instances to the Hole Wizard feature.
Default alignment method for new pattern features.
