Calculates the component orientation
by mirroring and flipping about the X
and Y axes of the component.
Align to selection
Calculates the component orientation
by mirroring and flipping the component
about the local X and Y axes. In the
calculation, X is parallel to the mirror
plane and Y is normal to the face or
plane that you select in Alignment
Reference.
A second reference triad appears in the
graphics area and shows the X and Y
rotation axes for the seed and the
mirrored component. The axes change
as you click the orientation icons.
Alignment
Reference
Select an entity to align the up axis of
the orientation axes. Available when you
select Align to selection.
You can select the following items as
references:
• Planes or planar faces that are
perpendicular to the mirror plane.
• Linear edges or linear sketch
segments that are parallel to the
mirror plane.
Click Flip alignment reference
