View Recent Files
You can view a list of recent files opened in the software in the following locations:
• Windows ® Start menu: App list and tiles
• Search Windows: Search results for the SOLIDWORKS ® 2020 software
• Windows taskbar
To view recent files:
1. From the Windows Start Menu, click Settings > Personalization > Start.
2. Verify that Show app list in Start menu and Show recently opened items in
Jump Lists on Start or the taskbar are On.
3. Close the Windows Settings dialog box.
4. From the Windows Start Menu, right-click the SOLIDWORKS 2020 icon from the app
list.
A list of files appears under Recent.
Welcome Dialog Box
You can log in to SOLIDWORKS from the Welcome dialog box.
In the upper-right corner, click Log In.
