Structure System and Weldments
This chapter includes the following topics:
• Options for Creating Primary Members Based on Points
• Creating Curved Beams and Merging Tangent Members
• Split Members
• Pattern and Mirror Support
• Member and Corner Trim Enhancements
• Cut List Properties for Weldment and Structure System Features
Options for Creating Primary Members Based on
Points
When specifying Point and Length, you can set a direction for a primary member by
selecting a sketch entity as a reference. The member extrudes in its direction. You can
also reverse its direction.
Additional end condition types:
Point
Up to Point
Up to Plane
Extends a primary member from the start point to the end
point. Click Chain Link to add members along a chain of points.
Extends a primary member up to the selected point.
Extends a primary member from a point to a plane. The
member extrudes in the direction of the reference plane.
