Permissions: Use
permissions from the
following user
Allows a user logged in to the PDM vault to use permissions
granted to the user whose credentials are available in the
User Name and Password fields.
If you use permissions granted to another user:
• You have these permissions only until you change the
state.
• You do not require transition permission in the
SOLIDWORKS PDM workflow.
• Your name appears in the history and in the data card
variables.
Plenary Web Client
The SOLIDWORKS Installation Manager includes the Plenary Web Client.
The enhancements made in the Plenary Web Client facilitate integration with a connected
SOLIDWORKS PDM vault.
You can check in, check out, and send SOLIDWORKS PDM data to processes that have
PDM outputs.

The performance of Gantt chart tools and functionality provides improved visual feedback
and connection to Microsoft ® Project.
Users can view PERT chart, Network diagrams, and Load and Schedule charts.
