2. Click at the upper-right corner of the Property Card window to view the notes.
PDM Options Tab
The PDM Options tab provides options that affect files in a SOLIDWORKS PDM vault.
To view the PDM Options tab:
1. In the Process Configuration wizard, on the Workflow Properties page, select the
Output node.
2. Click the PDM Options tab.
The tab includes the following options:
Option
Do not increment
version of PDM files
Description
Prevents the creation of a new version each time an output
updates SOLIDWORKS PDM variables or changes the status
in SOLIDWORKS Manage.
It is similar to the SOLIDWORKS PDM transition option to
Overwrite Latest Version.
• This setting applies to the SOLIDWORKS Manage output
only.
• Use Overwrite Latest Version to prevent SOLIDWORKS
PDM from creating a new version if:
• SOLIDWORKS Manage changes the state of the
SOLIDWORKS PDM workflow.
• The SOLIDWORKS PDM transition updates a variable.
• If you include a large number of affected items in the
process, it takes a longer time to complete.
Permissions: Use
permissions from the
logged in user
Uses permissions granted to the logged-in user.
