And the priest passed by.
Another traveler, a Levite, also noticed
the man lying in the road.
(The Levite should walk from one side
of the classroom to the other and stop
briefly when he comes to the man.)
Surely this man will die! I wonder what
he did to deserve that. It’s not my
problem, though. I should walk on the
other side of the road.
(The Levite should then walk away.)
And the Levite passed by.
Then a Samaritan traveler came along.
Even though the Samaritans and the
Jews were not friends, he showed mercy
to the man.
(The Samaritan should walk from one
side of the classroom to the other and
stop when he comes to the man.)
Oh, you poor man! Let me help you.
