entrando a Facebook.
habilidad poco a poco.
How to focus 100%
to be productive?
One thing many of us struggle with today is how to
focus on whatever kind of activity we do. This time
we live in is somewhat crazy. We are constantly
bombarded with news on television, social networks,
cell phones, and the internet as a whole; they distract
us with their photos, funny videos, or their
shocking notes... And let's not talk about the obsession
that exists to reach perfection, to be the
best and stand out, which in most cases takes us
out of the way of doing things by focusing on doing
things quickly, rushing, and - reaching the goal as
soon as possible - but with worse results.
Concentration is a muscle. Throughout the day,
much of your time is spent using apps on your cell
phone, checking your emails, watching television,
and logging on to Facebook. When you spend too
many minutes on activities that don't need your
attention, you lose that skill little by little. And when
it comes time to focus on an important task, you
make it worse because your brain is not used to it.
Clear your head. You want to focus, but are concerned
about the next 900 things to do after or the
next day. That's a big problem. The unresolved
issues in your life don't just distract you: they also
make you idiotic. What you just read is true. Thinking
of something to do next creates a problem in
your head called "attention residue." This means
that when you are thinking of something else, your
mental power decreases to do the task you are
currently performing.
Sleep the hours you owe. Scientific studies have
proven that when you don't get enough sleep, that
causes your will and self-control to decrease when
you need to avoid bad habits like watching nonsensical
videos of kittens on YouTube (yes, they are
hilarious, but they don't really do you any good).
Take a walk. A walk or any other type of exercise
that you enjoy are excellent ways to increase your
concentration and be more productive. If you need
great concentration, do it in the morning. It is scientifically
proven that our brain works best in the
morning, and that is when our levels of productivity
and attention are highest. It is the time of day when
we are most rested and we reach greater concentration
in what we do. That is why you should leave
the activities that involve the most effort for this
part of your day.
Music and Discipline. In my more than thirty years of experience as a piano teacher, one of the
questions parents always ask when registering their children for piano lessons is: Do they have
to practice? The answer I give is always the same ... Yes, they have to practice, and daily. Success
in learning any musical instrument is undoubtedly practicing religiously after receiving a lesson.
Human beings are not born with discipline, it is a quality that is learned through the activities
we carry out.
I truly believe that discipline is the most important variable that defines a person's future,
because having discipline means continuing to do your job even if you find it difficult, and it
also develops patience through being disciplined. The child with discipline knows that things do
not come out perfectly the first time. For example, learning a new piece in his weekly piano
lesson, the disciplined child knows that he must practice daily and gradually. The undisciplined
child expects instant gratification, and not being able to play the piece the first time, he becomes
discouraged and does not want to play the piece again. When that happens the wisdom of the
parents is the only thing that helps the child to overcome his difficulty.
It is important for parents to understand that you are the cornerstone to develop discipline in
your children's lives. When he / she is discouraged, as an adult, we urge them to try again.
Sitting down to practice with the children is the best way to keep their interest and develop
their discipline. Always remember that discipline is developed, it does not come out by magic
or miraculous formulas!
Learning to live in the here and now
o felicidad. Por el contrario
suele asociarse con tristeza
e incertidumbre, que en algunas
ocasiones te enferman de
ansiedad o depresión. Tenemos
que acostumbrar a nuestra
mente a vivir en el presente, a
disfrutar y saborear cada momento
que estamos viviendo.
It is essential to learn to focus our attention
on the present and understand that the past
and the future are realities in which we
cannot intervene.
How to do it? How to be here and now? 7 tips
that will help you enjoy your present.
1. Press the pause button that number 1
2. Be patient
3. Act slowly
4. Set aside what remains
5. Prioritize your intention to be here and now
6. Put visual memories that help you generate
change.
7. Enjoy the details.
We waste time and energy entangling ourselves
in memories of the past, most of them
harmful, and we also torment ourselves with
a future that we wish to anticipate and plan
for. Children want to be adolescents, adult
adolescents, younger adults.
Many are the people who are not happy with
their time and long to be in another. And
neither live in the time they have nor can they
return to the past or travel to the future.
There is a very true saying, yesterday is history,
the future is a mystery, however the present is
a gift, that's why it is called the present.
The worst thing about looking back or forward
is that it does not bring solutions or happiness.
On the contrary, it is usually associated with
sadness and uncertainty, which sometimes
make you sick with anxiety or depression. We
have to accustom our mind to live in the present,
to enjoy and savor every moment that we are
living.
Huracán a la vista!
Hurricane in sight!
externos.
DISPONIBILIDAD DE DINERO EN EFECTIVO (LOS CAJEROS
NO FUNCIONARÁN).
We are in the middle of the hurricane season; the natural
disasters that are approaching Louisiana are becoming more
frequent and for this we must take emerging measures capable
of meeting the basic needs of our family and pets.
Prevention is better in Louisiana. Follow us on our Facebook
page, Prevention 1,2,3.
EVACUATION PLAN: PRIORITY ARE PEOPLE WITH SPE-
CIAL NEEDS, CHILDREN, AND PETS. The first thing that
must be established is an evacuation plan to leave the area
of potential impact. Generally, the authorities will issue alert
systems where they will announce that it is a mandatory or
voluntary departure according to the level of the emergency.
It is important that you follow the announcements of the authorities
on radio and television channels, as well as on social
platforms that are faster and more accurate with the news
lately. You must first develop a plan for people with special
health needs, the elderly, pregnant women, and children.
Lastly, make a plan for your pets.
FOOD AND WATER FOR EACH MEMBER OF THE FAMILY
FOR ONE WEEK. Food must be non-perishable, that is, it
will not spoil, meaning you must purchase canned and readyto-serve
food without the need to cook or preheat. Keep in mind
that many services such as electricity, gas, and water could
have been discontinued or deteriorated; check to have a manual
can opener. Water and food must be calculated to meet the
needs of each member of the family for the interval of approximately
one week.
SUFFICIENT SUPPLY OF MEDICINES (IF YOU USE THEM).
It is very likely that due to the emergency there will be a shortage
of essential medicines, and for this reason the sufficient amount
necessary must be provided for about thirty days.
MOBILE PHONE CHARGER: SOLAR, EXTERNAL BATTERIES,
ETC. It is important to keep in touch to receive alert messages
from the authorities or to be in contact with our loved ones. Without
electrical power you will not be able to charge mobile phones, which
is why it is a good idea to have a solar system charger or external
portable chargers.
CASH AVAILABILITY (ATMS WILL NOT WORK). It is necessary
that you have cash, as it is very likely that the ATMs will not work
or will be short of money.
FILL YOUR CAR WITH FUEL. It is best to refuel as soon as
possible so that you do not have any setbacks if you decide to
evacuate and the roads are heavily loaded.
Utilízalo, págalo a tiempo
usuario autorizado (Authorized User).
Did you recently apply for a mortgage loan but didn't qualify? Maybe you wanted to
finance the purchase of your new vehicle, but your loan request was denied. If you
either of these examples resonates with you, your issue might be your credit score
or lack thereof. The following three tips should help you start or establish your credit
score.
1. Apply for a credit card, if you are not approved apply for a secured credit card with
a local credit union or bank. Use it, pay it down and increase your credit limit every 6
months; this will help you establish and strengthen your credit score.
2. Add yourself as an authorized user to a friend or family member's account. This
will authorize you to use their credit card, and their monthly payment will be reflected
on your credit report.
3. Add a co-signer to your credit request. Adding a co-signer will strengthen your
credit score position, offsetting the risk for the lender. Note* co signers are equally
responsible for monthly payments.
Augmented reality in adver sing: this is how the technology works
that adapts what we see in sports, depending on where it is broadcasted.
Sports adver sing has evolved and rotated billboards with the logos of
certain brands. Those are repeated in a format with mul ple advantages,
as pointed out by some experts. To make the most of this space, there are
companies that offer what is known as 'Parallel Ads', augmented reality
technology that adapts what is seen in real me. A format that is surprising
because of how well integrated the result is, and has been used for years in
LaLiga and MediaPro.
People in the stadium will see the empty billboard, but the video captured
by the camera will allow these parallel announcements to be introduced,
shown in real me and adapted to each broadcast. The results are exceponal,
and unless you compare one image to another, it is difficult to know
when it is being used. AGS technology is currently being op mized for
professional Sony cameras such as the HDC-5000.
How does it work? What you do is create a new ad in post-processing. Its
technology allows up to four simultaneous transmissions, with adver sements
on the LED billboards and based on a single camera. No addi onal
hardware is required to make this link, although an operator must connect
the reference signal to the LED system to synchronize. A job that usually
lasts between 20 and 45 minutes.
A technology that makes it possible to take advantage of the huge audiences.
For these compe ons to adapt the content of that adver sing space;
depending on whether it is seen from Europe or China, and even if it is
seen through a payment channel or streaming services.
Cómo hacer
helado
Recuerda no poner nunca palillos
How to make ice cream for dogs
Can a dog eat ice cream? Yes, obviously they can and not only that, but they also love it. Commercial ice creams, which
we usually eat, are not healthy for our dogs. The best option is to do it ourselves, they are very simple to do and we can
also take them. Remember that although a homemade ice cream is good for the dog, if he takes it too quickly or in an
excessive amount, it will be very bad for him. You must give it to him to lick it and consume it little by little. Remember
never to put toothpicks or objects that could damage it inside the ice cream.
Yogurt ice cream recipe. We can make a simple yogurt ice cream by putting the yogurt in the freezer ... and waiting for
it to freeze. When it is frozen, we will simply remove the wrapper and let our dog enjoy it. Optionally, you can also add
a little cinnamon as it is very beneficial for dogs, it will also give the ice cream a special smell and taste, irresistible for
our puppy.
Recipe for ice cream with fruits. This recipe is exactly the same as the previous one, only we will add the fruit
that our dog likes the most to make the ice
cream even tastier. Some examples of
healthy fruits are: plátano, cored apple,
pear, red fruit, melon, watermelon, for
example. The recipe consists of adding
whole pieces of fruit to ice cream, either
yogurt or yogurt with water, before freezing
it. In this way the fruit will be added to
the ice cream and our dog will be even
happier if possible.
Recipe for ice cream with cookies. This is
undoubtedly the most intuitive recipe of all,
we will simply add cookies to the yogurt
before freezing it, or we will mix them with
the yogurt if we do not want them to remain
in pieces. The cookies can be dog biscuits or
natural biscuits, always avoiding giving them
industrial biscuits full of sugars and / or
¿Cómo les va con la nueva cepa del COVID-19?
How are you doing with the new strain of COVID-19?
Just when we thought we were better, it seems that everything is very uncertain. Now the masks are back
as a safety measure and in some places it is necessary to have the vaccine or a negative test to be able to
enter restaurants, bars, or concerts like that at least in New Orleans.
However, apart from the pertinent care, there is also the cancellation of all or most of the festivals and the
occasional concerts that could strategically prevent more infections, or influence more people to get vaccinated
and perhaps slow down the pandemic around the world a bit. Which would give humanity a
break and means a respite for the economy and for health in general, both physical and mental.
In addition, I believe that the tactic, for everyone, should be to learn to live with what COVID-19. We
must take care of ourselves as always and exaggerate a bit, so as not to infect those close to us. We must
change, but change everything; maybe raise awareness and be better people. I think we need more patience,
love, and solidarity. Start the change, but from each one of us to be more tolerant and seek the
common good.
Now that we are divided between those who are for or against vaccines, care, and so many related issues,
we must make an act of conscience and respect because by example we teach to live better and to be better
human beings. Not only for ourselves, but for the new generations who will learn from what we are showing
them now, so I invite you to be more prudent and reasonable. Take care of yourselves and take care of all
that with this we will remain united.
Hola amigos…
Hello friends… Today I invite you to visit a beautiful city that combines tradition with modernity and as if that
were not enough, it is the second largest in Mexico. I am talking about the beautiful Guadalajara, which is
known as the Perla Tapatia, a place that has earned itself to be an icon that represents Mexicans, since it
has been the cradle of great writers, artists and inventors. It is said that the City of Roses, as it is also known,
is the only place in the world where you perceive the sensation and the beautiful smell of wet earth even
when it is not raining ... incredible right? Let's talk now about its Cathedral, which took 50 years to build and
combines the Gothic, Baroque and Neoclassical styles ... In addition to that, it has secret tunnels that connect
with the Hospicio Cabañas, a place that served as a hiding place during the Second Cristero War. Now we
are going to talk about the mariachi that, like the charro suits, are a classic of this beautiful state. And
precisely there, between the months of August and September, the International Mariachi and Charrería
Festival takes place… An event that you cannot miss! Finally, let's talk about their food, which is exquisite and
very varied. But let's focus on the famous drowned cake, which was invented by accident in the decade of
the 30's and of which only in the metropolitan area, about 1,800 are sold daily, can you believe it? Well
friends, I hope you liked this tour. See you next month, I assure you that you will enjoy as much as I did,
knowing another beautiful Rinconcito !!
