State and the Karoo, cut to your liking … 21-day aged<br />

steaks like Rump, Sirloin and Fillet as well as Tomahawk<br />

steaks, T-Bone and Pichana, thick-cut pork steaks and<br />

loin chops, as well as succulent Karoo lamb loin chops<br />

and best end chops. Dan and his team of trained<br />

butchers and blockmen offer any cut you might be<br />

looking for. Let them prepare a Lamb Roast or a Pork<br />

Roll or marinade or season your cuts to your preference<br />

while you continue with your shopping. All you’ll need<br />

to do is prepare the coals and light the fire.<br />

Their beef biltong and drywors is made in store and<br />

readily available in different stages of dryness, either as<br />

whole pieces or sliced just the way you like it. They also<br />

have ostrich and kudu biltong and drywors, chicken<br />

biltong and bacon biltong available.<br />

In addition to their freshly cut and prepared meat, they<br />

stock a number of brands in their butchery fridges that<br />

have become synonymous with flavour and quality.<br />

Founded in 1988, Dargle Valley, a family-run butchery<br />

in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands, has always been known<br />

for producing top-quality meats, sustainably. Dargle<br />

Valley Meats is committed to providing their customers<br />

with 100% real meat, made without harmful fillers or<br />

flavour enhancers. All of their beef is grass-fed and free<br />

of antibiotics and routine hormones. Their cattle have<br />

the freedom to roam and graze for their food, with<br />

continuous access to fresh water, open spaces and<br />

rolling grass hills. Grass-fed farming not only uses less<br />

energy and promotes biodiversity of the soil, but it is<br />

better for the animal and our health as well. All of their<br />

pigs are raised on their family farm in the Dargle Valley<br />

under humane conditions, where they are fed a special<br />

protein-based, hormone-free diet. Their 100% pork<br />

products are handmade and wood-smoked on the farm.
