Commercial Passenger Vehicles<br />
(CPVs) remain an essential<br />
service and can continue to<br />
operate in Victoria during this<br />
time, including during curfew<br />
hours.<br />
Authorised Worker<br />
Permit<br />
CPV drivers providing services in<br />
metropolitan Melbourne must<br />
carry an Authorised Worker<br />
Permit when working and<br />
when travelling to and from<br />
work.<br />
If you are a sole trader, you<br />
can issue a work permit and<br />
sign the permit as both the<br />
employer and employee.<br />
Authorised Worker Permits are<br />
available at coronavirus.vic.<br />
gov.au.<br />
Vehicle cleaning<br />
regulations<br />
CPV drivers must clean hightouch<br />
surfaces with approved<br />
products throughout a shift.<br />
Drivers must clean all surfaces<br />
passengers are likely to touch<br />
before every trip.<br />
Surfaces a driver is likely to touch<br />
must be cleaned:<br />
• if more than one driver uses<br />
the CPV – before a driver<br />
passes the vehicle to the<br />
next driver, or<br />
• if you are the only driver of<br />
the vehicle – at least once<br />
per day.<br />
