Circa 1960. The parade ground at Princess Mary Barracks Dover Road, where Singapore Polytechnic car park and administration block now stand. The buildings opposite are the 18th Royal Signals Officers’ Mess. The Officers’ Mess survives today as part of Dover Court International School. The small two story cottage was demolished to make way for the Infant and Senior block. The area was free from towering HGBs, traffic lights and cars.
Circa 1960s. The 18th Royal Signals Regiment Sign at Princess Mary Barracks Dover Road. The 18th Royal Signals Regiment Mosaic Emblem, which still exists today within the floor of the entrance to Block E at Dover Court International School.
