The property was built in 1987 and purchased by Midroc Ethiopia in 1999. Today, the Dubai-based Constellation Hospitality group manages the hotel under a franchise agreement with Marriott International for the Sheraton brand. With over 30 years of successful operations, the Sheraton Djibouti continues to be the oldest and most iconic international hotel in the country.
