This workshop provides a framework that empowers you to chart your way to desired outcomes and bring your team along with you! You’ll obtain strategies and tools to assist you in moving forward in a positive manner: setting and achieving goals for your team, overcoming common obstacles, building relationships, collaborating effectively, and setting into motion programs that will assure compliance and continued productivity. APPLYING EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE Taught by: Vanessa Williams Emotional intelligence is one of the most important skill sets for success in the workplace. It’s becoming increasingly recognized as an indicator of outstanding performance, and a core competency for strong leadership—and the good news is that it’s a skill set that we can all keep improving on. In this discussion-based class, you’ll be introduced to the four core domains of emotional intelligence. You’ll practice self-assessment and self-management techniques, as well as strategies focused on fostering empathy and communicating with others in an emotionally intelligent way. By the end of the class, you’ll create a personal action plan for continuing your emotional intelligence journey. TEAMWORK!” Taught by: Amber Key “Ugh, more teamwork! ” is often the sentiment expressed when groups are charged with working together. In this class learn how to build M.O.R.E. (Motivated, Open-minded, Reliable, Effective) teams. Take the “Ugh” out of team building by applying creativity, out of the box thinking, and enthusiasm to your leadership style so that your team can begin to function with an energy that connects them to each other and drives them to reach the goal. In this course, you will be armed with alternative tools, strategies, and practices that will enable you to lead an effective team that is motivated to produce results. This course introduces you to principles that will help you make a bigger impact in your organization. You will develop your ability to lead change by understanding the needs of your stakeholders, identifying and managing resistance, communicating effectively, and building buy-in. This course provides the essential toolkit to help you lead and motivate others through any organizational change effort.
