Freddie Martinez was born in Brooklyn, New York and moved to Lake Placid in
1977. He is a percussionist and a vocalist. His passion was to play different styles
of music such as reggae, island music, rock and country. With that in mind, Cool
Breeze was created.
Al Arroyo is a conga drum player from Manhattan, New York who moved to Lake
Placid 10 years ago. When Freddie heard him playing at a local bar, he knew he
was the one for Cool Breeze.
Tony Watson, the guitarist, is a native of Georgia. He lived in Miami and moved
to the Bahamas where he learned the magic of island music and reggae.
