St Patrick’s College Townsville is a place of inclusivity,
diversity and wonder, where students are empowered to
be curious, visionary, creative and imaginative.
At the College, young women learn to challenge the status
quo and believe in their ability to make a difference in
the world. Our academic and extracurricular programs
teach students to develop critical thinking and creative
problem-solving skills to ensure they accept challenges with
confi dence and determination.
In 2021, the multi-award-winning College has received
another two Excellence Awardee nominations, including
the coveted “Regional School of the Year”, and in the
last six years, enrolments have doubled to 585 students.
Established by the Sisters of Mercy in 1878 and founded
on the pillars of integrity, hope, compassion, justice, respect
and joy, St Patrick’s College Townsville remains proud of
its traditions. Today, these values compliment the College’s
inherent belief that young women can – and will - make a
real difference in the world.
