LUTHERAN COLLEGE
Primary school sets the foundation for lifelong learning.
Establishing strong foundations profoundly affects a
child’s future choices, successes, wellbeing and
resilience. Our stand-alone purpose-built Junior Campus
is dedicated to our Pre-Prep to Year 5 students, but offers
the resources and facilities many single campus P-12
schools would envy. We keep our cohort sizes small so
teachers can cater to every child’s learning needs, style
and ability, and we go beyond the standard curriculum to
prepare students for the real world. Our outstanding
co-curricular and extra-curricular programs, from coding to
performing arts and sports, offer something for everyone
and many are free of charge. Our Junior Years campus is
a safe haven for childhood, offering a gentle passage into
the more complex Middle and Senior Years on our
Ashmore Rd campus.
Our Middle and Senior Years campus caters for students
from Years 6 to 12. Our dedicated Middle Years program
provides a supportive bridge between the Junior and
Senior Years. The move from primary to high school is
both exciting and challenging. Our students manage this
move with ease through our expertly designed Year 6/7
Transition Program. We gently introduce students to the
demands and responsibilities of high school, preparing
them emotionally and academically, and building their
self-esteem and resilience. We ensure they feel supported
guided and cared for. In Year 9 students participate in 'The
Rite Journey', a unique program designed to support the
development of self-aware, responsible, and resilient
adults. It reinvents the traditional process of a Rite of
Passage to assist in transforming adolescents from
dependency to responsibility, building independence and
leadership as they transition from childhood to adulthood.
Our Senior Years cater for Years 10 to 12. Distinctive to
Trinity are our personalised pathways for learning,
ensuring that by Year 10 we are supporting the unique
talents of students, be they academic, cultural, sporting or
vocational, through a dedicated path appropriate to their
chosen form of education. There is a strong focus on
career planning, academic monitoring and guidance in the
Senior Years to ensure that each student is following
apathway that refl ects their abilities and interests,
whether academic, leading to Tertiary Entrance Rank or
OP (Overall Position) or Vocational training.
At Trinity we care for the ‘whole person’ with a focus on
realising the full potential of every student no matter
where their passions and areas of excellence lie. We
produce excellent results which reflect the unique talents
and abilities of each student.
