Inspired by the thousands of lightweight bubbles that<br />
float in the foam that forms atop the waves we love<br />
to ride, our DK Recharge footbed uses a bed of foam<br />
capsules to absorb the energy created when we walk.<br />
These capsules then release the energy, putting a<br />
little bounce in your step and reducing fatigue.<br />

They lie off the beaten path. Paths strewn with sharp<br />
pokey things, like thorns, lava rock and broken glass.<br />

DK FLEX TECH<br />
Some of the best lines are the hardest to get to. And<br />
that means one thing—hike-a-bike. But huffing your<br />
bike up trail shouldn’t be any harder than it needs to<br />
be. So we developed DK FLEX TECH, a flex plate insert<br />
that offers a flexible toebox to make walking easier,<br />
but is also stiff enough on the pedals to confidently<br />
take on any feature.<br />
DK ULTRAGRIP RUBBER<br />
We know you’re going to send it, flat-pedal riders<br />
always do. But no matter the number of pins or the<br />
size of the platform, optimal pedal/shoe interface is<br />
essential. Hamburger shin is not fake news! That’s<br />
why we developed DK UltraGrip Rubber, an ultra grippy<br />
compound that sticks to the pedals by allowing the<br />
pins to contour into the sole of the shoe, letting you<br />
rip slip-free.<br />
DK MELLOW FOOTBED<br />
Some feelings have to be experienced to be<br />
explained and DK Mellow is one of them. For our slides<br />
we wanted a feeling that provided a sense of freedom<br />
and relaxation the minute you slipped into a pair. Like<br />
a comfy chair or favorite pillow. We can’t tell you how<br />
we did it, but in this ultracushy, supple foam, feet feel<br />
cradled as you shuffle and slide.<br />
DK TUBE TECH<br />
From the barrels we ride to the lava tubes that wind<br />
their way under the islands, in the surf world, tubes<br />
are everywhere. This got us thinking. What if we placed<br />
a series of tubes underfoot that would compress and<br />
expand with every step. So we tried it. It worked. And<br />
we call it DK Tube Tech.<br />

RUBBER COMPOUND<br />
Fails happen. But they should only happen when you<br />
are pushing the limits, not simply slipping on a wet<br />
sidewalk. Our latest innovation is DK Friction Tech<br />
Rubber, a grippy compound that when combined with<br />
a smart tread design, will keep the rubber side down<br />
whether shuffling through the built environment or the<br />
natural one.<br />

COLD RUBBER<br />
The cold version has been modified into a softer<br />
rubber compound for improved traction in a variety<br />
