Perfect Blue , final Fashion Design Collection by Diana Dillner at Marbella Design Academy

"Perfect blue is a feminine proposal for Spring / Summer 2021. Perfect blue is inspired by the 90’s animé movie with the same name, and is an allegory made to the constant exploration of the perception of our identity, and beauty. The name refers to the last scene in the movie when Mima, the protagonist looked at the sky and at that moment she realized that everything will be fine, this is something that most of us do unconsciously, in some way as much as the sea and the sky. They are the most visually relaxing things, they are not blue but it is an optical illusion. Perfect blue signature style is based on the contemporary art of Japan. It is difficult to differentiate between reality and illusion which is why the collection includes a mix of patches, colors, and a mix of bold and delicate fabrics in a captivating play of color contrast. The silhouette of fashion in 90’s was characterized by looser shirts, crop tops, acid-wash jeans and Capri pants alone which you’ll see repeatedly in every outfit with different styles."
