Mia Rose Miller is an 8-yearold<br />
2nd grader at Dr. John<br />
Grieco Elementary School.<br />
She began performing and<br />
singing when she was<br />
only 2 years old. Her<br />
mother is her biggest<br />
inspiration, and she truly<br />
encouraged Mia Rose to<br />
perform in Englewood <strong>Idol</strong><br />
this year. She loves and appreciates all<br />
types of music, and she comes from a very<br />
encouraging, musical family. She wants to<br />
give a special thanks to her mom and dad<br />
for all they have done for her and all the<br />
talents they gave her, and a huge thanks<br />
to God for blessing her with great parents.<br />
During this year’s Englewood <strong>Idol</strong>, Mia<br />
Rose is so excited to showcase her<br />
tremendous singing skills!
Her favorite food is donuts<br />
She knows how to play piano,<br />
can swim, and draws all kinds of<br />
designs.<br />
If given the chance, she would<br />
love to meet Pocohantas in real<br />
life because she admires her<br />
strength and encouragement.<br />
If a genie granted her 3 wishes,<br />
she would wish for no more<br />
homeless people, be famous, and<br />
have many Robux in Roblox.
Isaac Broadie, aka Lil Chain Boi<br />
is a 12-year-old 6th grader at<br />
Janis E. Dismus Middle School.<br />
He started his musical journey<br />
when he was only 8 years old.<br />
His biggest inspiration is<br />
Nipsey Hussle, as Isaac<br />
believes he was so talented<br />
and admired that he rapped<br />
about real life while also<br />
helping others. His favorite<br />
type of music is hip-hop, and he has a true<br />
passion for the impact of music on others! Isaac<br />
wants to give a huge thanks to his super<br />
supportive family, especially to his mother that<br />
always bought him the equipment he needed<br />
and believed in him! He would also like to thank<br />
Mrs. Aronson for giving him the chance to<br />
perform in <strong>Idol</strong> this year. During this year’s<br />
Englewood <strong>Idol</strong>, Isaac is so pumped to<br />
showcase his rapping skills!
Isaac’s favorite food is mac and<br />
cheese.<br />
He knows how to DJ as well as<br />
drop some sick beats.<br />
If given the chance, he would love<br />
to meet Spongebob in real life<br />
because he believes he is hilarious.<br />

he would wish for a million<br />
dollars, live in a mansion, and<br />
perform on stage with Lil Baby
Ange’Lay Chaney is a 13-yearold<br />
7th-grader at Janis E.<br />
Dismus Middle School. She<br />
started performing and<br />
dancing when she was only 6<br />
years old. Dancing has always<br />
been a passion of hers, ever<br />
since she watched people<br />
dance and perform on TV and<br />
admired their talent, beauty,<br />
and peace. Ange'Lay's favorite<br />
type of music is pop music, and she loves to dance.<br />
She is super grateful for her family and everything<br />
they do for her in helping her achieve her musical<br />
dreams! She would like to give a big thanks to<br />
Mayor Mr. Wilde, her mother Commissioner<br />
Chaney, her father Kaiser, the staff of<br />
Englewood <strong>Idol</strong>, her teachers, her support<br />
system, and her Englewood of Jesus Church<br />
family! Ange’Lay is super pumped to showcase her<br />
dancing talents at this year’s Englewood <strong>Idol</strong>!
Her favorite food is burritos<br />
She is one active girl, playing various<br />
sports, including basketball, gymnastics,<br />
and volleyball<br />
She enjoys baking and trying out<br />
different hairstyles.<br />
She has a Black-owned business called<br />
“Meet the Beauty,” where she aims to<br />
help all those in unjust situations, face<br />
domestic abuse or bullying, aid with<br />
suicidal prevention, help homeless<br />
children, and reduce gun violence!<br />
If a genie granted her 3 wishes, she<br />
would wish for a lifetime supply of<br />
money, a dance scholarship, and a<br />
dream vacation to Japan.
Ange’lina Chaney is a 10-year-old<br />
5th-grader at McCloud<br />
Elementary School. She began<br />
her musical journey when she was<br />
only 6 years old. Her biggest<br />
inspiration for her musical career<br />
is her cousin Danielle V. Chaney,<br />
who sadly lost her life in a gun<br />
violence incident. Danielle was<br />
also a previous contestant in a<br />
past Englewood <strong>Idol</strong>, and Ange’lina derived a lot<br />
of appreciation for music from her. She loves slow<br />
and inspirational music, and her favorite<br />
instrument is the harp, though she appreciates all<br />
music. Ange’lina comes from a family of naturalborn<br />
leaders, superheroes, and very unique<br />
individuals. She would like to give a huge thanks<br />
to her mother, family, support system,<br />
godmother, and community for all the help they<br />
gave her! She is excited to showcase her singing<br />
and rapping skills by performing an original song<br />
during this year’s Englewood <strong>Idol</strong>!
Some of her favorite foods include<br />
apples, seafood, mac and cheese,<br />
ICEEs, swiss rolls, fried eggs, salads,<br />
and PB&J sandwiches.<br />
If a genie granted her 3 wishes, she<br />
would wish for more wishes, unlimited<br />
money to invest in her doll business,<br />
and save helpless children.<br />
She is a huge fan of Anime<br />
Her loving great-grandmother just<br />
turned 95<br />
She loves to draw, write, play and<br />
write music, act, play tennis, make<br />
crafts, and shoot bow and arrows.
Ava Black is a 9-yearold<br />
3rd-grader at Dr.<br />
Leroy McCloud<br />
Elementary School. She<br />
began her musical<br />
journey when she was<br />
only 5 years old and<br />
went to her very first<br />
tap dance class. From<br />
then, she fell in love with dance and<br />
performing. Ava’s favorite type of<br />
music to dance to is pop. She would like<br />
to give a big thanks to her mother,<br />
Ms. Jasmine, and Ms. Humphrey for all<br />
the support she got from them! Ava is<br />
thrilled to be able to showcase her<br />
dancing talents during this year’s<br />
Englewood <strong>Idol</strong>.
Her favorite food is mac and<br />

love to meet Ariel from The Little<br />
Mermaid so she could ask her how<br />
it feels to move so majestically<br />
through the water.<br />

she wishes to be a human and<br />
mermaid hybrid, live in a mansion,<br />
and be a famous tap dancer.<br />
She loves to do gymnastics and<br />
makeup in her free time<br />
She has a twin brother
Millie Bethany Ochoa is a<br />
7-year-old 1st-grader at<br />
Dr. John Grieco<br />
Elementary School. She<br />
began performing at The<br />
Performing Arts School<br />
and during the summer<br />
camp at BergenPAC. Her<br />
biggest inspiration is the OMG Dolls.<br />
Millie's favorite genres of music are rock<br />
and pop music and occasionally classical<br />
music. She would love to give special<br />
thanks to her parents for always<br />
supporting her and planning a super fun<br />
7th birthday sleepover with her cousins.<br />
Millie is beyond excited to showcase her<br />
singing talents at this year's Englewood<br />
<strong>Idol</strong>.
Her favorite foods are steam dumplings,<br />
shrimp, and anything from McDonald's.<br />
If given the chance, Millie would love to<br />
meet Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie from<br />
My Little Pony because she loves these<br />
funny and cool characters.<br />

She loves to dance, make art, and play<br />
the piano in her free time.<br />
Her favorite pastimes are playing<br />
makeover, getting dressed up, putting<br />
on makeup, and facetime with her<br />
cousins.<br />
Millie loves her cousins dearly.<br />
Her favorite subject in school is Art.<br />
She aspires to be an Art teacher when<br />
she grows up.
Khloe Yates is a 10-year-old<br />
5th-grader at Dr. Leroy<br />
McCloud Elementary School.<br />
She has been dancing ever<br />
since she was a baby but<br />
officially started performing<br />
and taking formal gymnastics<br />
when she was 5 years old. Her<br />
biggest inspiration is her<br />
mother, who is always playing<br />
music, encouraging her kids to<br />
move and play with the beats, and get up and<br />
get active in music. Khloe’s favorite genre of music<br />
is emotional, when people pour out their feelings<br />
and hearts into music, and when you can truly feel<br />
that emotion when you listen to the music. She<br />
wants to give God and her family a huge thanks<br />
for all the love she has gotten throughout her<br />
musical journey. Khloe is super excited to be<br />
showcasing her singing at this year’s Englewood<br />
<strong>Idol</strong>.

She loves boxing and doing arts and<br />

She is so grateful for her whole family<br />
and for all the unconditional love and<br />
support of her dreams she has gotten<br />

Florian Bellanger is a renowned<br />
pastry chef known for his role as a<br />
permanent judge on the Food<br />
Network’s Cupcake Wars. Bellanger<br />
has also been a judge on Celebrity<br />
Cupcake Wars and Cupcake Wars: Kids.<br />
Bellanger’s love for food manifested<br />
itself at an early age, so he knew that<br />
his career would take a culinary path.<br />
As a child, Bellanger spent his free time<br />
baking in the kitchen for his family.<br />
Although a childhood allergy to<br />
chocolate ironically prevented him<br />
from relishing such treats for nearly 6<br />
years, he outgrew it and passionately<br />
dedicated himself to the art of pastries<br />
even more. He was formerly the executive pastry chef at the<br />
world-famous Parisian pastry and candy shop, Fauchon.<br />
Bellanger is currently the chef and wonder of Mad Mac<br />
Macarons, an acclaimed French cookie and pastry company<br />
in NYC. When asked to share his thoughts about the John<br />
Grieco Scholarship Fund, Bellanger responded with ,”I think<br />
it is important to give students a chance to do what they like<br />
best - it motivates them and gives them the opportunity to<br />
discover new talents.” Forian Bellanger has been an audition<br />
and contest judge for Englewood <strong>Idol</strong> for many years and is<br />
our longest-running judge on the show. He is our Senior<br />
Judge for this year’s Englewood <strong>Idol</strong> and we are honored to<br />
have him back for another year of Englewood <strong>Idol</strong>!
Robert Bannon is an<br />
accomplished and lauded<br />
cabaret singer and “Saturday<br />
Night Live” actor. He has been<br />
dazzling audiences on the stage<br />
and screen for years, his<br />
emotive and powerful vocals<br />
and knack for comedy bringing<br />
people by turns to tears of<br />
emotion, laughter and elation,<br />
and always to their feet. Robert<br />
Bannon has been singing since<br />
he was 12. He is a graduate of<br />
the William Esper Conservatory and Juilliard Prep,<br />
both in Manhattan. Bannon was admitted into the<br />
very first Juilliard Prep class for musical theater<br />
under the direction of Broadway icon Bertin Roswer<br />
at Lincoln Center. A Fort Lee, New Jersey, resident<br />
and native of Ridgefield Park, New Jersey, Bannon<br />
spends his "downtime" from singing and<br />
performing in the classroom as a 5th grade history<br />
teacher in North Bergen, New Jersey. We are so<br />
excited and honored to have Robert Hannon judge<br />
this year’s Englewood <strong>Idol</strong>.
Jabari Amir Jones is an all<br />
around artist, being a<br />
professional actor and<br />
performing artist in singing,<br />
song-writing, and creativewriting.<br />
He received his<br />
Bachelor of Arts in English<br />
Language and Literature from<br />
Morehouse College in 2007,<br />
and went on to receive his<br />
Master of Fine Arts in Acting<br />
from Columbia University in<br />
2010. He can be seen on various television<br />
projects, including being featured on “Pose,”<br />
“American Homicide,” “FBI,” “Bull,” &<br />
“Saturday Night Live.” He is a writer who is<br />
currently creating his own short film called<br />
“The Transition”. He hails from Atlanta,<br />
Georgia but currently resides in NYC, and is<br />
constantly looking for opportunities to share<br />
his art and skills. We are honored to have<br />
Jabari judge in this year’s Englewood <strong>Idol</strong>.

performing artist in<br />
multiple sectors. He is<br />

with Warner Music Groups in New York<br />
City and has many bookings in the area<br />
for his music. We are honored to have<br />
such a talented and experiences artist<br />
judge this year’s Englewood <strong>Idol</strong>.
