The Courage of Children: Boston and Beyond XXX

My mom brought home The Max Courage essay books. I read them in English
and in Mongolian. These stories gave me a lot of courage and strength as I
saw there are children from many parts of the world facing so many different
challenges: material, emotional, and political. I compare my story with their
stories. We all have different challenges. Also, these stories of the courage
of children give me more motivation to be strong and be happy with what I
have. I started appreciating and being thankful that I have good parents, and
wonderful brothers, even if sometimes they are annoying.
Now, I want to tell you why I started writing about my mom. She wanted us
to be strong. She showed us by her own example to be hardworking, patient,
and able to handle different tasks and responsibilities. She tells me that gold
is processed by heat pressuring the other metals out. Meaning that good
characters are developed under challenges. If there are no pressures, courage
is not needed. Handling responsibilities and duties without complaining is
courage. This courage makes you a stronger person. My mother tells me that
we will be grateful for her later when we grow up, as these skills we learned as
a child will be very useful in our lives.
