The Courage of Children: Boston and Beyond XXX

My journey of courage started two years ago. It was when I was in eighth grade.
One day, we had the announcement to attend a lecture on self-development.
This teacher came from the city and gave us an inspirational lecture on selfesteem.
This lecturer woke me up from my sleep, from my dead dreams.
I realized that I was sleeping although I was awake. If you don’t have a dream,
it means you are not awake. That was the message I got.
Since I was a little kid, I always liked dancing. One time, when I was in
third grade, I was dancing on a village school team. We prepared for a big
performance for the provincial event. We were hoping we would win and get
medals. But we didn’t win. Since that time, I was disappointed and I didn’t
dance anymore.
After this lecture, I dug out my dream to dance and to become a good dancer.
I started making preparations, going to auditions, and started dancing for the
school team. As I prepared I became stronger and stronger, and I realized
how much I liked dancing. I participated in several events and theatrical
performances. I won third and first places and got medals.
I tried, I worked hard for it, I succeeded. There is a Mongolian proverb,
“If the person tries, the good destiny will follow.” Trying and pursuing your
goals pay off. This is courage. Courage is hard work. Courage is to have an
inspiration for your dreams.
