envolvendo 430 formandos. Ao
mesmo tempo, já se prepara uma segunda
edição.
RESPONDER A UMA NOVA REALIDADE
À semelhança de todas as organizações
e de todas as pessoas, também a APDC
teve de se reinventar rapidamente,
para dar resposta a uma nova realidade
criada pela crise pandémica. Sendo
a plataforma de debate e reflexão das
TIC e Media, a Associação passou a desenvolver
uma atividade quase unicamente
assente no digital, tomando-se
decisões verdadeiramente inéditas na
nossa história. Realizámos em 2020
um intenso calendário de iniciativas
digitais, integradas no âmbito de ciclos
dedicados aos temas mais atuais,
fizemos várias parcerias para intensificar
a nossa atuação junto das empresas
e dos profissionais e promovemos a
criação de uma nova secção de realidade
virtual e aumentada, para promover e acelerar o
ecossistema nacional.
Esta é uma estratégia que será aprofundada em
2021, tendo o seu expoente máximo no Digital Business
Congress, que, fruto de uma decisão da Direção
da APDC, passará a ser realizado no segundo
trimestre de cada ano. O 30º Congresso, que será
presidido pela Eurodeputada Maria Manuel Leitão
Marques, está agendado para 12 e 13 de maio, assumindo
um formato híbrido (dependendo a componente
presencial da evolução da pandemia), tendo
como tema central “Reinventing with Technology”.
É nesse sentido que continuamos a trabalhar na
APDC, envolvendo todos os nossos Associados e
demais Stakeholders: refletir sobre o setor e os problemas
reais do país, através da discussão e reflexão
e da troca de ideias e sinergias, no sentido de criar
valor e gerar a tão necessária mudança, rumo a um
futuro que nada terá a ver com a realidade que hoje
vivemos, também ela já uma “nova” realidade. •

Skills & Jobs, which is finishing its
first edition in ICT areas relevant to
business, involving 430 trainees. At
the same time, a second edition is
already being prepared.
RESPONDING TO A NEW REALITY
Like every organization and every
person, APDC had to reinvent itself
quickly to respond to a new reality
created by the pandemic crisis.
As the platform for debate and
reflection of ICT and Media, the
Association began to develop an
activity almost solely based on digital,
taking decisions that were truly unprecedented
in our history. In 2020,
we carried out an intense calendar
of digital initiatives, integrated within
cycles dedicated to the most current
topics, we made several partnerships
to intensify our action with companies
and professionals and promoted
the creation of a new virtual and
augmented reality section, to promote and accelerate
the national ecosystem.
This is a strategy that will be further developed
in 2021, with its greatest exponent in the Digital
Business Congress, which, because of a decision
by the Board of Directors of APDC, will now be
held in the second quarter of each year. The
30th Congress, which will be chaired by MEP Maria
Manuel Leitão Marques is scheduled for May
12 and 13, assuming a hybrid format (depending
on the face-to-face component of the evolution
of the pandemic), with the central theme “Reinventing
with Technology”.
It is in this sense that we continue to work at
APDC, involving all our Associates and other
Stakeholders: to reflect on the sector and the
real problems of the Country, through discussion
and reflection and the exchange of ideas
and synergies, in order to create value and
generate the much-needed change, towards
a future that will have nothing to do with the
reality we live today, which is also already a “new
reality”.•
