No playground is complete without a swing. The
sensation of swinging high up in the air gives a
feeling of weightlessness and freedom. And, of
course, that delightful feeling of butterflies in
the stomach that is so familiar to children and
adults. Sharing a swing with another person
is even more fun. Rotating play structures let
children experience centrifugal force. They also
promote mutual cooperation between the child
on the structure and the person pushing.
