4.4 Troubleshooting or error display and remedy
Lifting problems

Lift does not lift when button is
pressed (motor does not run)
Lifting platform does not lift when

fluctuations
Defective button and/or contact
Defective main switch and/or

Thermal relay has tripped
Limit switch defective or blocked
Hydraulic oil shortage
Oil filter clogged
Oil loss
Open lowering valve
Wrong direction of rotation of the

Defective gear pump
Permissible load has been
exceeded
Check motor and replace if
necessary
Eliminate causes and replace fuses
Replace button and/or contact
Replace main switch and/or contact
Replace cable
Check voltage
Replace motor contactor
Check thermal relay and motor
Check limit switch, replace if
necessary
Refill oil
Clean oil filter
Replace damaged components
Check and replace the lowering
valve if necessary
Replace phases
Check the pump and replace if
necessary
Work within the specified payload
Lifting platform lifts jerkily
Lifting platform continues to lift
after releasing the button
Pressure relief valve set too low
Too little space between slideways
Air in hydraulic system
Dirty hydraulic oil
Slideways are not lubricated

Set pressure relief valve to
maximum working load
Distance between slideways and
guide must be 1.5 - 2.5 mm
Bleed the hydraulic system
Change the hydraulic oil
Lubricate the slideways
