PUBLISHER’S NOTE
Fall is upon us! It’s one of my favorite times
of the year. There’s always so much going
on. Be sure to check out our calendar for
the many events taking
place throughout Middle
Tennessee. If you have
an event you would like
published, send it to
info@focusmidtenn.com
and we’ll see what we
can do.
For this issue, we
wanted to highlight a few
local folks who are making success waves. Of
course, we couldn’t possibly cover everyone,
but know, we recognize you. We see you.
One of the great things about doing this
job is that I get to meet so many people who
are so inspiring and it just pushes me more.
Being successful comes with
responsibilities. Being successful also means
you’re not afraid to fail. This issue provides
our readers with success stories that are and
will be. Start-ups like, True You TN, that seeks
to be the first and only LGBT+ youth home in
Tennessee.
There are successful men and women
throughout this issue making their way in life
being role models for all of us. Many have
the ideology that success is simply helping
others. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve
seen businesses and organizations grow
because of the innate character of their
leaders who, without fail, put the common
good before themselves. That kind of
success breeds success.
We hope you enjoy this issue. Our next
issue is going to bring you lots of good food
and beverages as well as a Holiday Guide
so you will know where you can spend your
money and it goes to the greater good.
I wish you all much success in your
endeavors.
Stay focused,
