Namık İsmail, who describes
his art by saying "My technical
side is less strong, my poetry
side is very strong", is one of the
works that best reflects this
aspect. The pale, bluish light of
the moon covers the painting,
almost like a dream, giving it a
surreal atmosphere. With the
main dome and semi-domes of
the mosque on the hill, the
semi-shadowy view of the tomb
on the lower part, and the
courtyard wall surrounding the
mosque, everything seems to
invite the audience to an
ethereal calm.
