and elegance. A few years later, after
a wonderful experience at CHANEL,
Tatiana ventured to build her own
eponymous high jewellery line. TVJ
was launched on 24 Place Vendôme,
Paris, in January 2019.

me to trust my own creative instinct, to
stay fresh and different and not to try
to belong to a trend. He also taught me
to shape my ideas into something very
generous, luxurious and magnificent.”
As CHANEL had 8 collections a year,
Tatiana was trained to have ideas and
how to shape them into jewels again
and again. “There were numerous
techniques and infinite materials. It
prepared me for the high jewellery world
where your idea has to be very mature

Tatiana Verstraeten
Tatiana Verstraeten had a strong
interest in design since an
early age, instilled by her artist
mother. But she decided to first graduate
in Business Management and Finance.
After an experience in private banking
and consulting, she passionately
supported a young Redbull athlete
to build his career, then the young
designer Anthony Vaccarello (now
YSL’s creative director) to develop and
gain international recognition in the
ultra-competitive world of fashion.
Karl Lagerfeld offered her a position
in the creative studio of CHANEL in
2010, to design fashion jewellery and
