sadeçaà kurvéthäù pratimudita dhérädhikam idam<br />
parikleça-distress; mlecchän-uncivilized; samada-impassioned; madhu-pälé-of bumblebees;<br />
madhurayä-with the sweetness; nikåtan-cutting down; netra-of the eyes; anta-of<br />
the corners; praëaya-love; kalikä-unblossoming flower; khaòga-sword; latayä-with the<br />
creeper; tvam-You; äsénaù-seated; kalkin-O Kalki; iha-here; ca-and; turaga-horse;<br />
upähita-placed; or catura-charming; gopä-cowherd men, hita-ratiù-affectionate; ratiùrest;<br />
sadeçam-near; kurvéthäù-please perform; pramudita-delighted; dhéra-sober;<br />
adhikam-more; idam-this.<br />
O Kalki, seated on Your horse and with the bee-covered vine of Your sword killing<br />
the suffering barbarians You see from the corner of Your eye, please make the<br />
saintly devotees happy.<br />
Note: This verse may also be interpreted to mean:<br />
"O auspiciousness of the gopas, with the bee-covered sweet vine-sword of Your<br />
affectionate sidelong glances killing the barbarians that are Her sufferings, please<br />
make Rädhikä happy."<br />

tvam ävedya klidyan-mukha-parisaro locana-jalaiù<br />
tato govindasya prativacana-mädhvéka-padavém<br />

iti-thus; prema-of love of God; udghäöa-manifested; stha-situated; puöita-broken; vacaùwords;<br />
bhaìgiù-waves; akhilam-all; tvam-you; ävedya-having informed; klidyatmoistened;<br />
mukha-face; parisaraù-area; locana-of the eyes; jalaiù-with the tears; tataùthen;<br />
govindasya-of Lord Govinda; prativacana-reply; mädhvéka-madhavi flowers;<br />
padavém-path; upäsénaù-seated; dågbhyäm-with the eyes; kñaëam-for a moment;<br />
avadadhéthäù-please be very attentive; khaga-of birds; pate-O king.
