hanta-O; balavän-strong; yat-because; stasmin-in that place; veëoù-of the flute;<br />

jayati-is gloriously manifested; cira-for a long time; saubhagya-auspiciousness or<br />

beauty; mahimä-glory.<br />

"O friend, O bliss of the ocean's heart, bring Govinda to Våndävana and make it<br />

happy. But how will Våndävana be pleased with you? The great and eternal glory of<br />

the flute reigns there."<br />

iti premodgära-pravaëam anunéya krama-vaçät<br />

parivärän bhrätar niçamayati cäëüra mathane<br />

punaù kopodbhinna-praëaya-caöulaà tasya nikaöe<br />

kathäm äcakñéthäù daçabhir avatärair vilasitäm<br />

iti-thus; prema-of love; udgära-description; pravaëam- depth; anunéya-having<br />

conciliated; krama-vaçät-gradually; parivärän-followers; bhrätaù-O brother;<br />

niçamayati- hearing; cäëüra-of Cäëüra; mathane-the killer (Çré Kåñëa); punaù-again;<br />

kopa-anger; udbhinna-manifested; praëaya-love; caöulaà-lovely; tasya-of Him; nikaöein<br />

the vicinity; kathäm-description; äcakñéthäù-please speak; daçabhiù-ten; avatäraiù-by<br />

the incarnations; vilasitäm- manifested.<br />

Brother, when you have spoken to Lord Kåñëa this message of love, then, in sweet<br />

words of love mixed with anger, please also speak to Him the pastimes of His ten<br />

incarnations.<br />

Note: In the next ten verses the Lord is addressed as Matsya, Kürma, Varäha, Vämana,<br />

Nåsiàha, Rämacandra, Balaräma, Kåñëa, Buddha, and Kalki.<br />
