matter of charming herbs; vidäm-of those who are knowledgable; tvat-of You; ékñä-the<br />

sight; dékñäyai-for initiation; paricarati-serves; bhaktyä-with devotion; giri-sutä-<br />

Pärvaté, the daughter of the king of the Himalaya mountains; manéñä-intellegence; hiindeed;<br />

(the peacocks); patra-feathers; praëayinam-fond; smara-cupid; udvardhi-mocking;<br />

kréòam-pastimes; nibiòa-deep; ghana-cloud; sära-best; dyuti-splendor; bhäramabundance;<br />

sadä-always; abhyarëe-in the presence; nandéçvara-Nandéçvara; giribhuvaù-of<br />

the mountain; raìga-the räsa dance; rasika-expert at enjoying; bhavantam-<br />

You; kaàsa-of Kaàsa; are-O enemy; bhajati-worship; bhavat-of You; äptyai-for the<br />

attainment; mama-my; sakhé-friend.<br />

O Kåñëa, to attain You, who are the cows' protector, fond of wearing a peacock<br />
