Drink the sweet water in pure Käliya lake, fragrant with kadamba filaments and<br />
purple with jewels fallen from the serpent's hoods when (Lord Hari) showed His<br />
prowess by joyfully dancing there again and again. When Lord Hari was in the<br />
water there, the gopés, their hearts overwhelmed and their steps faltering as they<br />
anxiously ran on the Yamunä's path muddied with waves of tears flowing from their<br />
eyes, attained a state that cannot be described.<br />
