tato haàsau bibhran-nikhila-nabhasaç cikramiñayä<br />

sa varddhiñëuà viñëuà kalita-dara-cakraà tulayitä<br />

tvam-you; äsénaù-seated; çäkha-branch; antara-within; milita-met; caëòa-tviçi-great<br />

splendor; mudam-with delight; dadhéthäù-you should place; bhäëòére-in the banyan<br />

tree; kñaëam-for a moment; api-even; ghana-deeply; çyämala-dark; rucau-luster; tataùthen;<br />

haàsau-swan; bibhrat-holding; nikhila-all; nabhasaù-sky; cikramiñayä-with the<br />

desire to go; saù-he; vardhiñëum-expanding; viñëum-Viñëu; kalita-held; dara-conch<br />

shell; cakram-and cakra; tulayitä-will become equal.<br />

Happily stay for a moment on this dark banyan tree splendid in the sunlight. Now<br />

this tree is like Lord Viñuu holding a conch and disc and present everywhere in the<br />

sky.<br />

Note: The dark banyan tree, with branches everywhere, is like Lord Viñëu's form<br />

present in many places simultaneously. This sun is like His disc and the white swan<br />

on a branch is like His concshell.<br />

tvam añöäbhir netrair vigalad-amala-prema-salilair<br />

muhuù siktas tamäà catura-caturäsya-stuti-bhuvam<br />

jihéthäù vikhyätäà sphuöam iha bhavad-bändhava-rathaà<br />

praviñöaà maàsyante vidhim aöavi-devyas tvayi gate<br />

tvam-you; añöäbhiù-eight; netraiù-with eyes; vigalat-trickling; amala-pure; prema-of<br />

love; salilaiù-with water; muhuù-constantly; siktaù-sprinkled; tambäm-cow; caturaexpert;<br />

catuù-äsya-of Lord Brahmä, who has four heads; stuti-prayers; bhuvam-place;<br />

jihéthäù-please go; vikhyätäm-celebrated; sphuöam-manifested; iha-here; praviñöamentered;<br />

maàyante-will consider; vidhim-Brahmä; aöavi-devyaù-the gopés of Våndävana;<br />

tvayi gate-when you are gone.<br />

Go to the famous place where intelligent Brahmä, again and again sprinkling the<br />

ground with tears of pure love flowing from his eight eyes, offerred prayers. When<br />

you have left, the forest goddesses will think Brahmä had just come, riding on you.
