Treadmill exercises

The treadmill is one of the cardio equipment

that will help you tone your muscles, increase your

endurance, and always keep yourself in a good

mood because running helps in the production of

happiness hormones.

This sports equipment will be very useful for us in

the cold season - natural activity during this period

is reduced, and the track helps to compensate

for the lack of movement.

If there is no goal to make a professional athlete

out of the model, then short, but regular, useful

runs will be enough to improve health.

Since the properties of running can bring not

only benefits to your's health, but also harm,

consultation with a doctor is necessary. The

doctor must confirm that the use of the treadmill

will be safe for you.

What muscles work.

The main benefit and valuable property of running

are that during it, almost all muscles of the human

body are comprehensively worked out. The main

load during classes is received by:

- gluteal and femoral muscles;

- shins;

- feet.

However, while running, the upper

body also actively works. Therefore,

regular training helps to improve the

condition of the biceps and triceps,

regulated. You cannot immediately

go to training at the limit of strength

with zero physical preparation - this

will be harmful and cause aversion

to classes. In total, a useful workout

should take beginners about half an

hour.

In general, running on the track

differs little from healthy jogging in

the fresh air. However, exercising

indoors can negatively affect the

respiratory system if the room is too

musty and the temperature is too

high. The room should be ventilated

during training.

On a treadmill, the human body

rapidly loses its fluid reserves.

Therefore, before starting a useful

activity, you must definitely drink a

glass of water.

of other exercises are of great

benefit.

Walking

The benefit of walking on a

treadmill is that such a moderate

load also contributes to weight

loss and overall strengthening

of the body. In just an hour of

training, if properly carried out,

you can lose more than 400

kcal, especially if you alternate

calm walking with a brisk step.

The properties of walking

perfectly develop muscles,

train the cardiovascular and

respiratory apparatus. The

benefits of walking for models

on a treadmill is that they do not

have to experience excessive

stress, but the training result

remains very high. In addition,

walking properties are ideal for

those who are prohibited from

running for health reasons.

Moving at a brisk pace fully

replaces jogging, but does not

harm an already weakened

body.

The exercise program when

using walking can be structured

in the same way as for classic

running.

1. Start with a warm-up step

at a speed of about 5 km per

hour and continue walking for

about 8 minutes.

2. Then you can accelerate to

7 km per hour - about a minute.

3. Then go to an intensive step

up to 9 km per hour, also for

no more than a minute.

Like running, race walking

should end smoothly - at the

end of the lesson, the step

should be slowed down and

walk at a calm pace for about

5 minutes.

Run.

The benefits and harms of

running on a treadmill depend

on your health condition. But if

there are no contraindications

to jogging, then training will

bring tremendous benefits.

if you practice according

to the classical scheme:

- warm-up - walking at a brisk

walking pace for 8 minutes;

- light running on a flat horizontal

surface of the track - about 7

minutes;

- brisk walking for 5 minutes;

- again light running for 7

minutes.

If you alternate walking and

running throughout your

workout and carefully monitor

your heart rate, then jogging

will give you a feeling of vigor

and a good mood.

Walking with incline.

A very useful function of

electric treadmills is the ability

to regulate the slope of the

treadmill. The benefits of

training properties will only be

higher if you periodically run

uphill and downhill.

It should be noted that the

slopes of the track should not

be too strong. It is necessary

to lift the canvas only 1-2° from

the horizontal, even such a

load will be very noticeable for

the body. If you tilt the belt too

much, then training will begin

to be harmful.

When leaning, the benefits of

brisk walking on a treadmill

are best. The load for the body

Errors when exercising on a

treadmill.

The benefits of running and

the effectiveness of walking

on a treadmill depend on

how well the person does the

workout. There are several

common mistakes that not only

beginners but also athletes

with decent experience make.

- Uniform and constant loads.

Over time, the body gets used to

jogging - the exercises become

too easy, and this reduces

their benefits. To maximize the

effect of running, the pace and

intensity of exercise should

be increased from workout to

workout.

- Support on handrails. The

handles of the treadmill are

needed in order to grab them

in the event of a fall, but you

cannot constantly hold onto

the handrails, this shifts the

center of gravity while running

and harms the musculoskeletal

system.

- Incorrect breathing. During

training, it is necessary to

breathe through the nose, and

athlete are very similar - in both cases,

success depends on what kind of physical

condition you are in. And if, while working as

a model, you often find yourself dependent

on the whims and desires of others, then in

matters of nutrition and training, you can

and should control yourself. The way you

eat will inevitably affect your appearance,

mood, and, most importantly, at work. A

balanced diet means healthy skin, shiny

hair, clear, shining eyes, and a charming

white-toothed smile.

DISORDERLY EATING

Both male and female models should

be slim. It is clear that for people of this

profession, taking care of their weight is one

of the most important. If you are not one of

those lucky ones who may not count every

bite you swallow, you need to stick to a

sensible diet and give up bad habits.

Unfortunately, for some professional models,

the desire to lose weight becomes an

obsession. Having set this goal, they cross

all the boundaries of reason. This leads to

alternating periods of fasting (anorexia)

and overeating (bulimia). Does not bring

health and the subsequent cleansing of the

intestines with laxatives or artificially induced

vomiting. Not to mention the dangers of

anorexia and bulimia to the body, such a

"regimen" will not improve your appearance

in the least. On the contrary, a career can

be jeopardized. Digestive disorders are not

at all harmless, they can lead to serious

illnesses. Don't be afraid or embarrassed

to confess if you have this kind of problem.

CARBOHYDRATES.

Carbohydrates are the main "fuel" of the

body, a source of energy for mental work

and all types of physical activity. A balanced

diet should include 50-60% carbohydrates.

There is plenty to choose from bread,

cereals, potatoes, legumes, fruits. This food

contains fiber and takes up more space in

the stomach. If you eat foods containing

fiber, you will eat less, but you will be full.

When consuming such foods, it is very

beneficial to drink water. If you oversaturate

the body with carbohydrates, as is the case

with any other substance, then the excess

will lead to the deposition of fat. Refined

sugar is also a carbohydrate, but it lacks

valuable nutrients. This is a "useless" product.

If instead of eating normally, you intercept

the chocolate bar, you thereby upset the

nutritional balance. Plus, you don't have

enough energy for a full day's work. When

shopping, be sure to read what is written

on the package. Remember all products

ending in "-ose" ("glucose", "fructose") are

sugars and they are not at all harmless to

you than refined sugar. The same must be

said about honey, syrups. Remember, all

sweets are bad for your teeth.

FATS.

Fats play an important role in the life

of the body. They envelop the internal

organs with a soft film, help to retain heat,

and provide a reserve supply of energy.

In men, on average, fats account for

15% of the weight, in women - 25%. Your

appearance depends on the number of

consumed fats: if there is a lack of them,

the skin will become dry, the hair - brittle,

faded. For energy consumption, the body

will use protein (protein), and it is intended

for the development of muscles and the

restoration of damaged tissues. Your daily

diet should include about 30% fat. If you

do not want to get yourself cardiovascular

disease due to excess cholesterol in

the body, eat low-fat dairy products,

vegetable fats, and oils.

as fat or is removed from

the body in the urine.

VITAMINS.

Vitamins are not a source of energy, but they

are essential for normal development. Our body

does not produce these substances, their main

Supplements are needed in special cases, on the

advice of a doctor or dietitian. Remember: fruits

and vegetables are best eaten raw or after light

heat treatment - then all vitamins are preserved

in them.

The art of makeup

The face is your calling card. And makeup

reflects your attitude to fashion and your selfimage.

When makeup matches the woman’s

inner self and mood, it makes her more attractive:

she looks good and feels great. However, good

makeup is not the same as a thick layer of

cream powder, lipstick, mascara, and blush. If

you want to be beautiful and confident, read

this section carefully. Master the art of always

looking brilliant, and above all, looking good in

front of the camera.

Clean, healthy skin is always beautiful, but even it looks better with

natural makeup. You can emphasize the natural beauty of your face

with just one or two shades that match your skin tone: makeup should

always be applied in extremely small amounts.

Whether we are talking about photography, video, or filming, it is

important to give your face expressiveness. Even if very bright lighting

is provided or you are asked to make your makeup more catchy, still try

to keep your appearance as natural as possible. Of course, there are

no rules without exception: sometimes a special kind of lighting or an

art director's whimsical taste dictate a different approach to makeup.

Usually, we advise you to stick to the following makeup method.

1. Tuck your hair under a

headscarf or ribbon.

Determine what type of skin you

have. Have you allergic to certain

types of drugs and decorative

cosmetics?

2. It is necessary to prepare

your face for makeup.

To do this, cleanse your face

with reliable products that are

suitable for your skin type. After

that, look at how smooth it is, and

correct imperfections, as well as

remove excess eyebrow hairs.

(Please note: mainly shape the

eyebrows by brushing them. It is

not recommended to make the

eyebrows too curved or pluck

them too much). Carefully remove

pigmentation with an exfoliator - a

cream of grainy texture. Caution:

do not rub in the cream too hard

- the skin may become inflamed,

causing redness. Dry lips also

need to be treated. If you have

time (and you should always have

enough time to prepare for closeups),

make a moisturizing face

mask. Let it soften the skin. (Oily

skin that does not have scaly

areas usually does not require

this procedure.) The delicate

skin around the eyes contains

little natural oil, so a moisturizing

mask is especially useful for it. If

your eyes are slightly red, lower

your eyelids and gently tilt your

head back. Put a special saline

solution into the inner corners

of the eyes, while the pipette tip

should not come into contact with

the cornea or skin. When you lift

your eyelids, the liquid runs down

the inside of the eye, not down the

face. The saline solution is sold

in pharmacies as Hipromeiiose

eye drops ("artificial tears"). If this

solution is not available, drip cold

boiled water.

Now you need to remove excess

cleanser or makeup residue. To do

this, use a 100% cotton wool swab

dipped in a non-alcoholic tonic. It

restores the acid-base balance of

the skin, making it more receptive

to moisture. (If you don't have

toner at hand, you can refresh

your face with mineral water - this

is a good substitute: it removes

redness and moisturizes the skin.)

This procedure prevents clogging

of pores, makes the skin soft, and

thanks to it, make-up lasts longer.

Then apply a light moisturizer to

your face and neck. If required,

apply a thin layer of a special

cream only on the lower eyelids

with gentle touches, being careful

not to get into the eyes, as the

cream can irritate the mucous

membranes.

There are several ways to get rid

of eyelid edema. Place a bag of

chamomile tea in hot water and

wait for the water to cool. Then,

lying with raised legs, put the bag

over your eyes for 10-15 minutes

- this is the same time-tested

remedy for swelling, like slices

of fresh cucumber. You can use

dry chamomile purchased at the

pharmacy for this. If you cannot get

rid of redness or itching in the eyes,

it is possible that an infection has

got into them. In this case, consult

a doctor immediately. If you use

contact lenses, you will have to

either completely abandon them,

or take them off during close-up

photography (the lenses will be

noticeable in the pictures). Always

have a lens case and any eye

preparations with you. Be sure to

tell the makeup artist that you are

wearing lenses; he needs to take

this into account when treating the

skin around the eyes..

3. Application of makeup base.

The next step is to find a suitable

foundation for your makeup.

(When buying a foundation, try a

shade on your cheekbones and

see how it looks in daylight so you

don't make the wrong choice.)

The right way is to always choose

the most transparent foundation,

regardless of skin tone. If the base

is too thick, mix it in the palm of

your hand with a little moisturizer.

To make the tone matte (and

sometimes just to save time), you

can use powder, which is applied

with a damp sponge.

Cover the entire face with a liquid

foundation, lightly touching the

neck as well (unless you intend

to wear something with a high

collar). Always apply the base with

a light pat, do not smear: patting

distributes the base more evenly,

and smearing creates roughness

on the face. In no case should you

pull and rub the skin. Now that the

foundation has been applied, it

remains to tackle the most difficult

areas of the face.

Do not forget that too flashy

makeup makes skin imperfections

noticeable. With light touches,

apply under the eyes a special

makeup (concealer) of the same

tone as the base, and wait a

minute until it dries. Do not put

makeup on the folds of the skin,

as this will only accentuate them.

Remove excess makeup with a

corner of the sponge. It is better to

apply makeup (concealer) to small

areas of the skin with an eyeliner

brush - it is more convenient to

use it to evenly distribute the

makeup. The same brush can be

used to remove excess makeup.

(on damaged areas - acne, scars,

etc. - apply makeup very easily,

otherwise, irregularities appear on

the skin).

4. Applying blush.

Using blush in the form of a cream

or gel, you can revitalize the

complexion and correct its shape.

Blush shades and skin tone should

be in harmony to create an overall

natural tone. If, when powdering,

you notice that you need to brighten

the color, then apply a little more

dry blush on your cheeks - this will

give the skin a delicate lively tone

and smoothness.

5. Application of powder.

The powder should be applied

in small amounts and with very

light touches. It is preferable to

use transparent (non-pressed

powder). Gently place it with a

sponge or velor pad on the cheeks,

around the eyes, and around the

lips so that it does not fall into the

folds of the skin and corners. It is

better to remove excess powder

with a pad, sponge, or a large

brush made of sable, pony, or goat

fur. If you applied the foundation

in the form of a powder, then do

not powder anymore, as this

dehydrates the skin. If you have

applied foundation and powder,

we advise you to give up facial

expressions. Wrinkles can appear

on your face, but you need to

look fresh in front of the camera.

Even if you are cheerful - do not

smile! It is better to take pictures

"with a smile" towards the end

of the shooting. Remember that

the frame of your glasses leaves

marks on your face. Therefore, if

you want to keep your makeup,

take photos with glasses last..

6. Correction of the eyebrow

line.

First, comb your brows to see how

they look naturally. Then gently

brush over them (but not over the

skin) with a brush dampened with

moisturizer. If there are "gaps"

in the eyebrows or they have an

uneven shape, you can touch up

them with powder or pencil. A soft

brow line, tweaked with powder,

looks better. Pencils can be used

by those who have a very "light"

hand. Stubborn eyebrow hairs

can be smoothed out using hair

gel or a drop of mascara. Do not

pull out excess hairs after applying

foundation, this is harmful to the

skin.

7. Lip tinting.

First, cover your lips with a sheer

gloss and let it dry a little. Then blot

with a lint-free cloth or tissue. The

gloss will keep the lips moist and

prevent the lipstick from smearing

on the skin in the future. Now

outline the contours of the lips.

8. Eyeliner.

Shadows around the eyes

should be as natural as possible,

preferably warm, brown. This

tone will shade well the eyes

of any color. You can combine

different shades of brown. Apply

the shadow with a brush - this will

make it smoother. Using a soft

sponge applicator, smooth out the

shadows in the corners of the eyes

and folds of the eyelids. Repeat

this procedure with a brush. The

task is not to outline the eyes with

a contour, you just need to slightly

highlight them with shadows. (Do

not apply eye shadow too wide

across the eyelids.)

Now you need to see how you

look in the spotlight. If you need

to tweak the tone, add a little

blush or foundation to make the

complexion as natural as possible.

There are nothing worse than too

brightly painted cheeks, lips, or

eyes. First, it looks vulgar. Secondly,

because of the layer of makeup, it

is impossible to understand what

your appearance really is. Always

use very soft, pastel colors - and

you will never go wrong in color.

Do not forget about the order of

makeup: if you need to touch up

the shadows around the eyes, do

it before coloring the eyelashes -

dry shadows can remain on damp

eyelashes.

9. Eye makeup.

We advise you to use less pencil

or ink. The pencil coarsens the

features too much, and besides,

have the right to choose your

"role" in front of the camera. If

you have light eyelashes and they

are invisible without mascara, we
