by the Sri Venkateswara Pranadana Trust, a<br />
charitable <strong>trust</strong> launched by the <strong>Tirumala</strong>
<strong>Tirupati</strong> <strong>Devasthanams</strong>. The Pranadana<br />
scheme is guided by the TTD's overall<br />
objective of using the Lord's material and<br />
spiritual wealth for the benefit of the poor and<br />
needy. It aims at:<br />
# Providing free medical facilities to<br />
poor patients afflicted with life-threatening<br />
diseases of the Heart, Kidneys, Brain, Cancer<br />
etc.<br />
# Providing poor patients with access to<br />
basic medical amenities like Blood-banks,<br />
Artificial Limbs, Physiotherapy, Tools and<br />
Implants.<br />
# Pioneering R&D into diseases like<br />
Chronic Renal Failure, Haemophilia,<br />
Thalassaemia and Cancer.<br />
The Pranadana scheme aims at making<br />
available state-of-the-art medical treatment to<br />
all poor patients – immaterial of their caste,<br />
