DO ALL SPEAK IN TONGUES? - ALBERT ELISHA OBERDORFER - SAMPLE

From a strictly biblical perspective, the answer is clear. 'Yes and No.' Everybody who has received the Holy Spirit speaks in tongues as a sign. But not everybody also operates in the gift of tongues. In other words, in the bible, we find two types of speaking in tongues. - The accompanying sign of speaking in tongues, according to Jesus in Mark 16:17: "And these signs shall follow those who believe ... in my name ... they will speak with new tongues ..." - And the gift of tongues, according to Paul in 1 Corinthians 12:10-11: "To one is given ... to another different kinds of tongues .. one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills." Get a crystal-clear insight into this subject that has baffled many believers for centuries.

A
ORPHANS; I will come to you.
When Paul met people, his heart was
always that they would genuinely come
to the place where they could receive the
Holy Spirit.
We see that in how he approached the
Ephesians in Acts 19.
The other apostles had that same heart.
If believers had not yet received the Holy
Spirit, they were ready to help them.
We see that in Acts 8.
The Samarians had heard the gospel from
Phillip.
They got baptized. But at that time, they
didn’t receive the Holy Spirit yet.
