FINAL LEINSTER V MUNSTER GUINNESS WELCOME The 2020/2021 GUINNESS PRO14 season will come to a thrilling conclusion today, with a monumental encounter in store. It has been another epic season of rugby and has served as a glimmer of hope during these trying times. It is a pleasure to welcome both Leinster and Munster to the RDS for this eagerly anticipated final. This all-Ireland showdown pits two great provinces against each other, and will no doubt be full of passion and excitement as both teams vie for the hugely coveted GUINNESS PRO14 crown. This season has not been without its challenges. Teams have lined out in front of empty stadia since Round 1 kicked off back in October, and while the roar of the crowd may have been missing this season, we remain hopeful that we will hear it once again very soon. We hope that wherever all the fans have been watching from, they were able to enjoy the magic of the GUINNESS PRO14. We’d like to send a massive congratulations to all involved in the smooth running of this 2020/ 2021 season. This interprovincial clash will be the third time Leinster and Munster have gone head-to-head in the decider. In 2001, it was Leinster who came out on top at Lansdowne Road while Munster were the victors in 2011 at Thomond Park. Leo Cullen’s Leinster are looking for their fourth straight GUINNESS PRO14 title, and eighth overall.
