Benz shines with buyers
The first two months of 2021 saw Mercedes-Benz,
International and Hino leading the pack on used truck enquiries
Leading truck brands Mercedes-
Benz, International and Hino
notched up the biggest year-onyear
(YOY) growth in enquiries on
Australia’s leading transport and
machinery classifieds network in
the first two months of 2021, new
data reveals.
While Nissan (+900 per cent) and
Cat (+300 per cent) experienced
the largest increases in enquiries,
both were off small numbers. Among
the majors, Benz led the way with
a 230.8 per cent jump in enquiries,
followed by International (+200 per
cent), Hino (+114.3 per cent) and MAN
(+100 per cent).
Off the back of a 43 per cent increase
in enquiries and 12.6 per cent lift in
searches across all truck brands,
Freightliner (+83.9 per cent), Volvo
(+76.7 per cent), Iveco (+75 per cent),
Mitsubishi (+62.5 per cent), Scania
(+57.9 per cent) and Mack (+44.2
per cent) also experienced strong
growth in buyer interest.
