the first two m<strong>on</strong>ths of 2021, new<br />
data reveals.<br />
Some 3,143 trucks – from beavertails<br />
to water carriers – are currently<br />
advertised for sale across the<br />
network comprising BusNews.<br />
com.au, Fullyloaded.com.au,<br />
OwnerDriver.com.au, TradeTrucks.<br />
com.au, TradeEarthmovers.com.<br />
au, TradeFarmMachinery.com and<br />
TradePlantEquipment.com.au, reaching<br />
almost 500,000 unique visitors in<br />
January al<strong>on</strong>e.<br />
Off the back of an incredibly str<strong>on</strong>g<br />
43 per cent increase in enquiries and<br />
22.4 per cent lift in searches across<br />
all truck types, enquiries <strong>on</strong> tray tops<br />
jumped 450 per cent (and searches<br />
+111.2 per cent) in the period compared<br />
to the same time last year; ahead of<br />
hook-lift (+200 per cent in enquiries;<br />
-3.5 per cent in searches), refuse (+100<br />
per cent in enquiries; +19.7 per cent<br />
in searches), c<strong>on</strong>crete pump (+100<br />
per cent in enquiries; -43.1 per cent in<br />
searches), and prime mover trucks<br />
(+74.8 per cent in enquiries; 10.4 per<br />
cent in searches).<br />
Rounding out the top 10 were cab<br />
chassis (+65.2 per cent in enquiries;<br />
+25.5 per cent in searches), crane (+61.5<br />
per cent in enquiries; +46.5 per cent in<br />
searches), pantech (+60.6 per cent in<br />
enquiries; +55.1 per cent in searches),<br />
c<strong>on</strong>crete mixer (+50 per cent in<br />
enquiries; +5.8 per cent in searches)<br />
and tipper trucks (+42.3 per cent in<br />
enquiries; +5.8 per cent in searches).<br />
