2 A TRANSITION.<br />
WE CAN LEARN from Paul, the apostle.<br />
He is a great example.<br />
He learned to transition from a lie<br />
dominated by human striving and self-will<br />
to a life dominated by the Spirit of God.<br />
A life full of power and peace.<br />
How do I know this?<br />
Look at Paul right after he had come to<br />
the Lord and had a compelling conversion<br />
experience.<br />
First, he had an exclusive encounter with<br />
Jesus on the road to Damascus.<br />
Then he experienced miraculous healing<br />
of his eyes (that had been blinded by the<br />
brightness of the glory of Christ) through<br />
Ananias.<br />
Ananias then also baptized Paul instantly,<br />
and Paul immediately also received the<br />
Holy Spirit.<br />
But did this instantly transform Paul?<br />
