Reasons why Garage Door
Sensors Malfunction
2. Photo-Eye Sensor Lights: Generally, photo-eye sensors on the track of
your door are around 6-inches above the ground. One of the two garage
door sensors indicates green light, and the other one shows a red LED light.
The green light means sending of the beam of light, whereas red light
shows that it’s receiving the light. But if anything is wrong with the sensor,
these lights either start blinking or go out. This means something is
interrupting the signal between the sensors or garage door sensor lights
are not at the same level.
