Winter Garden Business Owner Provides COVID-19 Relief
and Smiles to Children in Winter Garden
Iliana Ramos Jones, co-owner of Empire Finish Systems, has called
Winter Garden home for over 20 years. Iliana considers it an honor to
provide jobs and give back to the community that has blessed her life
so much. As a leader in the community, Iliana has directed her
organization to participate in various fundraisers, including donating
Thanksgiving dinners and Christmas gifts to local charities.
In the past few months, Iliana has partnered with the Winter Garden
Police Department by donating bicycles for children of different ages.
“It broke my heart to see so many children couped up inside due to
COVID-19. Bikes and outdoor activity are great ways for our children to
get exercise and enjoy a bit of normalcy,” Iliana said.
A challenge she faced was being able to find bicycles to purchase.
Bike riding has become so popular during the pandemic that bikes
were hard to find. The trail has been filled with more bike riders than
ever before.
Iliana Ramos Jones is running for Winter Garden Commissioner in
District 2. She told us the reason she is running is that she wants to
protect our community and keep the special feel that makes Winter Garden one of the best places to live, work and raise a family.
Iliana Ramos Jones understands the importance of family. She supports a city where children are welcome with activities to enhance
family life. Remember to vote for Winter Garden Commissioner on March 9th. For more information, visit www.jones4wg.com.
