This creates consistency for children while<br />
respecting and empowering parents. Unless a<br />
child is in immediate danger of harm, it is not<br />
appropriate for a volunteer to:<br />
Contradict a parent’s instructions to<br />
their children<br />
Correct a child’s behavior<br />
Punish a child in any manner<br />
Offer parenting “advice” to parents<br />
