Currently for aesthetic anterior restorations, dentists are using BRILLIANT COMPONEER - a material based on the sophisticated submicron filler technology of the high-performance composite BRILLIANT EverGlow, which provides durable high gloss with extremely smooth surface upon polishing. Brilliant appearance With the improved formulation, BRILLIANT COMPONEER b l e n d s harmoniously into the existing series of high-quality composite solutions from COLTENE. All products of the BRILLIANT composite range impress with their excellent blending qualities, which allows the veneer shells to be easily integrated into the natural redwhite aesthetics of respective patients. Choosing the right shade using the suitable luting composite BRILLIANT EverGlow is also intuitive due to the practical “Duo Shade” shade concept. In addition, the natural shade gradient of the tooth is skilfully reproduced by the progressive thickness of the translucent veneers towards the incisal edge. The universal system for all direct techniques, as well as casting techniques, offers the dentist a wide selection of reliable alternatives: from tried and tested titanium root posts, which promise high safety, to glass-fibre reinforced composite posts, which enable aesthetically demanding, metal-free restorations. All posts are distinguished by their great stability and adaptability. Almost 60 years ago, COLTENE developed ParaPost, the first standardised root post system with cylindrical sizes. The global market leader’s longstanding experience is particularly evident in the innovative design of the cylindrical ParaPost Taper Lux post: where the rounded retention head geometry minimises shrinkage stress during polymerisation in the core build-up material. At the same time, the retention edges on the shaft increase mechanical grip. Owing to the ingenious triple head design, the posts can also be adjusted quickly to the optimum length. The special X-Shape retention pattern of the titanium root posts acts as an efficient retention mesh and also serves as a drainage system to prevent apical back pressure caused by excess cement. The unique geometry is produced in a special rolling process and strengthens the break resistance of the post. When the focus is on metal-free root posts in treatment therapy, then light-conducting, glassfibre-reinforced composite posts with their dentine-like modulus of elasticity are the material of choice – not only because they can be adhesively bonded and are ideal for aesthetically demanding restorations, but they also reflect the natural shade gradient of the tooth substance. Moreover, they allow the use of light-curing cements and core buildup materials and are radiopaque - like all posts of the ParaPost range. Matched system for the optimal monobloc With the help of the standardised system, all indications can be treated with a standard range of drills. Be it for the direct technique or via the casting technique in the laboratory, there is a ParaPost variant for virtually every application. Using the matching 3-in-1 ParaCore material, the root posts are cemented, the core build-up is modelled, and the final restoration is securely fixed. The dualcuring, glass-fibre-reinforced composite creates an effective monobloc between the dentine, root post and crown.
