Nobel Biocare Global Symposium virtual edition
Through a virtual edition of Global Symposium, Nobel Biocare fulfils
its mission of advancing side-by-side with dental professionals
With a record-breaking registrations of more
than 10,000 unique registrations, the online
edition of Nobel Biocare Global Symposium
by Envista was not only an extraordinary
educational event, but also an example of
how remote teams can quickly adapt to
unprecedented circumstances.
The previous Global Symposium was held
last summer in Madrid with more than
1,000 participants. For the
2020 virtual edition, the
programme was shortened
and included seven live
sessions and several ondemand
webinars over two
science-focus days.
Participants had the
opportunity to raise
questions and further
discuss with experts several
topics including guided
and navigated treatment
planning, implant treatment success in the
aesthetic area, soft tissue grafting, and
management of treatment complications.
Thanks to the on-demand viewing, more
dental professionals and associates can
benefit from these learnings.
President of Nobel Biocare Systems, Patrik

IDEM 2020 to be a digital experience
In consideration of the latest
advisory issued by Singapore’s
Multi-Ministry Taskforce on
COVID-19 for events and gatherings
on 20 th March 2020, as well as
the World Health Organisation’s
declaration of COVID-19 as a
pandemic, Koelnmesse and the
Singapore Dental Association will
shift IDEM International Dental
Exhibition and Meeting 2020 to an
all-digital format.
Delegates will be able to learn
remotely at their own pace, with
a selection of live and on-demand
lectures. Exhibitors will be provided with
the opportunity to showcase their products
and solutions and at the same time offer
pre-recorded and live streamed conference
The online edition for IDEM 2020 will enable participants from
across the globe to safely connect, network and engage
sessions. A virtual exhibit area where
attendees and exhibitors can interact and
conduct businesses safely over a virtual
space is also being considered.

Dental Association, Dr. Lim Lii,

global pandemic, through IDEM
2020 we still strive to connect
with the dental community. With
this adapted format, we remain
committed to provide adequate
courses in a safe and responsible

qualify for CE points.”
