Welcome to our private treaty offering
This is our first year sending out a full catalog but we’ve been raising
Herefords for 25+ years. This past summer offered better than expected grass
with the less than average rainfall. The forage crops were ample with the rains
being timely. The calves weaned off heavier in 2020 than in years prior. The
bulls were weaned in early October and haven’t been pushed for maximum
gain as we want them to stay sound and be able to go out and work without
falling apart.
The bulls are derived from years of focus on balanced breeding. They
have the performance to leave you with a set of heavy steers but they will also
leave you a set of very maternal females. All bulls will pass a breeding soundness
exam before we let them leave our ranch. We will keep them free of
charge until we deliver. This is usually around the middle of April.
You are welcome to come look at the bulls anytime. The bulls are for
sale privately on a first come first serve basis. Videos will be on our website
behmpolledherefords.com and thelivestocklink.com. We are here to get you all
the info you need to make your bull selection easier.

Guarantee
All bulls will be guaranteed fertile and sound breeders before we deliver them. Should an injury
or fertility problem arise in the first 90 days after turnout we will get you a bull to replace
him until his long term soundness can be determined. If the bull is deemed unsuitable to return
to breeding service by a veterinarian, we will offer credit towards purchase of a new bull.
The calculation for credit is as follows (purchase price - salvage value = credit). This is only
available on bulls selling for $3,000 or more. Death will not be covered as that is insurable.

Bred Heifers For Sale
Fall of 2021
20-25 Angus Heifers AI’d to Cuda and cleaned up with a son of his.
Most of these were purchased from Bruce and Candice Kuhn as pairs and have
a heavy influence from Spickler Angus bulls. The remainder will be home raised
with influence from Spickler, Sitz and Duppong.
A select group of commercial Hereford Heifers AI’d Angus and
cleaned up with Angus bulls. All of these heifers derive from our registered
program but sell without papers.
10-15 F1 BWF Coming three year old cows bred to Angus bulls and a
small group of F1 BWF bred heifers. All home raised from our commercial herd.
All of the heifers will be ultra sounded to determine calving dates and
will be for sale around November 1st.
