To all our contributors and readers:

Greetings!

I am Dee, the Editor-in-Chief of Anon Fashion Magazine. With the COVID-19

pandemic, the year was indeed a roller-coaster journey for everyone. I am truly obliged

to all the readers and viewers who have shown their support and have been a part of

Anon Fashion Magazine. A special thank you to our contributors who have always

brought out of the box content about fashion and lifestyle from across the world.

The year 2020 will be remembered for a lifetime and I am glad that amidst the

epidemic, Anon Fashion Magazine has been serving all its readers with the best content

about fashion. We are fortunate to work with the best of photographers, creative

directors, stylists and makeup artists who are inspiring people with their incredible

work.

Our vision of bringing unexplored fashion in one book is what we have always strived

for and we are happy that our contributors are helping us to do so. With the curtains

coming down for 2020, we at Anon Fashion Magazine are looking for a better 2021 and

we wish all of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Gratitude is all we have for 2020 being a year full of surprises and challenges. Here’s

-What is more exciting for you to

work on TV Or on stage?

I started out on stage and it’s where I

feel most creatively engaged and free.

If movies are a directors medium and

TV is a writers medium, stage is the

definitely the actors medium. You are

your own editor on stage. However I

think all forms supplement each other,

it’s not a one way street.

- What was your first break and how

was the feeling?

I don’t

you I’ve

had what

you

would call a

‘break’. I’ve been

working for a

decade now and

it’s a marathon

not a sprint. It’s a

succession of

micro breaks

maybe, that all

add up to a

career.

-If you could visit

5 countries in 1

day which those

countries will be?

Five countries in one day would be

bonkers, are we factoring in travel? If

travel is included my hands are

logistically pretty tied. I’ve worked it

out on Google maps though and you

could drive through Austria, Germany,

the Netherlands, Belgium,

Luxembourg in a day with some time

to spare. The World Record is 19!!!

Countries in one day.....fever dream.

-Which role was the most

challenging for you and why?

I did a play called the Pitchfork Disney

written by Phillip Ridley a couple of

years ago and it absolutely fried me.

That was the most creatively fulfilling

experience I’ve had, but it cost me.

-What kind of movies do you like to

watch in your leisure time?

Ah, everything. I love films. I really dig

going through directors/writers back

catalogues. You clock patterns in

people’s work and what makes their

process

-What do you like to play more?

guitar or piano?

-Have you ever imagined yourself in

a dream with dark hair?

I really don’t think I have. I can’t

remember seeing myself in my

dreams very often. I have actually had

dark hair in real life and I wasn’t into it.

-Do you like shooting outdoor’s or

in studio’s?

It really depends on the weather.

Studios are convenient, but you can

start losing track of time and space if

you’re in a big hangar from dawn till

dusk. I’m currently shooting a new

Apple TV+ called Suspicion both on

location and in a studio and that’s

perfect for me. Coffees are harder to

come by in the woods!

-Your favourite sport?

Rugby. It’s a pre-requisite to play

rugby if you’re Welsh, I started playing

when I was 5, but had to stop when I

went off to drama school. One of my

drama teachers had said to me I had

to choose between acting and rugby

cause it’s not the best turning up to

rehearsals with a black eye and a

broken foot.

-Who was your first crush? and

when?

Jessica Rabbit. Around 1999. Don’t @

me.

-Few words you'd like to say to

your fans?

Thanks for following my career. I love

what I get to do and feel very

fortunate to have the opportunities

I’ve had. I spend a great deal of time

and energy on work, so if anyone

takes an interest and engages with

that thank you, that’s really cool.

You’re cool.

-What do you choose to wear along

with pants? boots or sneakers?

Yeah pumps/sneakers. Sneakers and

pants. I’m all for a quick getaway and

sneakers aid that twofold. You can get

them on and off faster than boots and

you can run faster in them. Prepare for

the worst, hope for the best.

-Special plan for 2021?

I am not tempting fate my friend.

-As we know you love riding

motorbikes, which bike you’d like

to get in 2021?

I had a Moto Guzzi whilst I was

shooting White Lines for Netflix out in

Spain last year and that a beast. I

don’t ride my bike in winter in the U.K.

I’ve come off the bike too many times

on icy roads. But when it starts to get

warmer I’m going to rejig my garage

as I’ve got a couple of bikes on their

last legs that need some work.

-Which colour do you like to wear

the most?

I’ve got so much blue in my wardrobe,

probably too much. I can’t do primary

colours though. It’s all grey, black and

blue - like my soul. I have however

recently been wearing more dark

green stuff, which at present I’m really

enjoying.

In a chat with

Talk to us about your experience filming "Julie and The

Phantoms." What did you struggle with the most? What

came easiest to you?

It was one of the best experiences I've had in my career so

far. The whole environment was so welcoming and full of

energy. Everyone wanted you to succeed and Kenny

constantly encouraged us to give our input on the creative

process. Walking into this production, it was so different

from anything I had ever done for TV and Film. I grew up

dancing first and got into the

musical theater when I hit about

11 years old, so I've been trained

in all three aspects. It wasn't

necessarily a struggle to work on

the series, but it was definitely

nerve-racking at first. I have

always felt super safe when

dancing or acting, but I've

always been way more shy

when it comes to singing. With

this show having such incredible

vocalists in it, I was really

worried going into the recording

studio for the first time that I

wasn't going to be able to deliver

what the team would want. After

the first take or two, I became

more relaxed and just had fun

with it.

-What was the hardest to

memorize for Julie and The

Phantoms, your lines, dance

routine, or song lyrics? And

why?

Luckily growing up in dance from such a young age, I've

been so used to memorizing choreography in about 30 min

and having to execute it to the best of my ability right after.

So, memorization has always come a bit easier to me, but I'm

sure being such a perfectionist also plays into that. If I had to

pick one though, probably the songs. I only got to rehearse

the songs in about 2 or 3 lessons before I went in to record

them. It wasn't even necessarily the lyrics themselves; it was

more of the actual notes. Those two songs are not easy to

sing and when you're playing a character that has so much

confidence, you really have to make that come through when

you listen to the soundtrack. I remember I went in to record

"Wow" and when we began recording the chorus, Kenny

came into the booth and told me to not worry about getting

everything absolutely perfect. He said "Just be Carrie. Let

Carrie take over that mic" Once he said that it totally clicked

that I wasn't Savannah singing on the track, it was Carrie.

-How were you discovered?

I have never answered that question

before in that context and it's crazy

to hear the word "discovered" haha! I

guess I've just always thought of

how I got my start. To make a long

story short, I went out to LA for

some workshops and classes back in

January of 2016. On that trip, I

ended up signing with my agent

Robin Nassif who then introduced

me to my now manager Tina

Treadwell and Kim Coleman. About

9 months and tons of auditions later,

I booked my first job which was the

pilot of "Knight Squad."

-How is filming a musical show

different from a traditional TV

show like "Knight Squad"?

It's incredibly different. Even

"Knight Squad" wasn't a 'traditional'

kid show. We had magic and these

crazy stunts. Every episode there

was something else that made it

even more unique than it already

was. Going from that to JATP was a big jump. The preproduction

alone of "Julie and The Phantoms" was this whole

new experience. There is so much work going into this from

the music to the choreography to the very structure of the

show and you know add the whole special effects from the

ghost's thing. It is a lot of work from all the departments, but

I think they all would agree that it was completely worth it.

-Describe your perfect day off when you are not

shooting?

If it's a day after a really long shoot, then probably

just hang out on the couch and catch up on the

current show I'm watching or just re-watch "The

Office" for the millionth time. Although, I loved

exploring Vancouver on our days off from JATP. Just

walking around, hiking, hanging out with the cast.

Mainly just spending time with them and bonding

even more off set.

-What is your favorite place to vacation or a place

you are dying to visit when COVID is over?

I don't really vacation a whole lot, but I would love

to go to Paris. That's been a major bucket list place of

mine for so long.

-Who inspired you to be where you are today? If

not an actress what would your career be?

I have had a lot of personal inspirations in my life I

can't just pinpoint one person. Growing up there

were so many major influences and teachers who

helped shape me into the person and performer that

I am today. That list would be so incredibly long,

but they each had a specific impact on my life. I

would still have to do something within the

entertainment industry even if I wasn't an actress. I

have always loved to choreograph, and dance is a

huge part of who I am so probably a choreographer.

-What are the main differences you notice between

Texas and California and which do you prefer?

The weather haha. It's so humid and hot in Texas

whereas California is the perfect mix of sunny but

not over heated. I don't think I could ever pick one or

the other. Texas was my only home for 15 years and

whenever I go back to visit, it almost feels like I

never left. Over the past almost 5 years of living in

California, it has become more of a home to me. It

really wasn't at first. All of my family was back in

Houston, I didn't know anyone and I kind of felt

alone. But once I started Knight Squad, that all kind

of changed. I met new people, made lifelong friends

and started working on such cool projects. Now

being in California feels comfortable and more of a

second home to me.

-Which celebrity would you like to go out to dinner

with? Dead or alive and why?

That is such a loaded question. I have so many.

Although, my number one would probably be

Michael Jackson. My mom grew up the absolute

biggest fan of his and passed down that love to me.

His music impacted my life in the biggest way, and I

have always looked up to him as a performer. There

is a reason why they called him the 'King Of Pop'

because there will never be another one like him. He

was truly a one in a million artist and performer. I'd

love to be able to ask him so many questions about

his career, his creative process and honestly just hear

all the incredible stories he would have from his life.

-How have you kept busy during quarantine and

what advice can you give to your fans that are

struggling to get through the pandemic?

I've been trying to focus a lot on myself and personal

growth. Mentally and physically. I've been writing a

ton which has been so much fun and an incredible

outlet. I highly recommend it. I've picked my guitar

back up and started playing again. I learned how to

play when I was young from my Grandpa, but I

haven't played in a couple years just due to how

busy I've been. So, I am really grateful to have had

this time to focus on that love for it again.

When visiting Italy, above eating and drinking,

people-watching may be the most rewarding sport

of all, simply because this country takes fashion

very seriously. Some of fashion's oldest and most

iconic houses call Milan home, so the trends you

see here during fashion week set the tone for Paris,

7too. Milan Fashion Week's Spring/Summer 2021

runways could have centered around comfy,

streamlined fashions that have become so popular

during the pandemic. But it seems in many ways

Milan has taken the opposite route, infusing

designs with delightful prints, eye-burning colors,

and unnecessary volume. If you were in

Prada Resort 2020 campaign

celebrates the beauty of living,

of reality, of today.

As the Prada Resort collection

proposes an alternate viewpoint

on classicism - the idea of

simplicity as a rebellion, of the

extraordinary to be found

within the ordinary, the new

inside the familiar - so a fresh

perspective is found here, a

different take on the very

concept of fashion advertising.

No longer a static, distanced

image viewed through the lens

of the page or the computer

screen, the Prada 2020 Resort

campaign is integrated into

everyday life, subverting

convention by breaking down

those barriers. It debuts

idiosyncratically, not only on

the pages of magazines but as

something to be experienced, to

be lived. Tactile paper images

wrap fragrant bouquets at

florists in key cities around the

globe – London, Milan,

Moscow, New York, Paris,

Shanghai, Tokyo - at points

unexpected, unknown,

unanticipated.

Everyday places filled with

beauty, romance, poetry and

stories.

The two photographers

selected by Prada to document

this collection are noted for

their dichotomous yet equally

powerful portrayals of

personalities - of humanity.

New York-based Drew Vickers

has drawn international

acclaim for composed, calm

and elegant portraits that

sensitively highlight the quiet

and tender human emotion

within his subjects. Here, the

photographs are as much an

expression of the feeling of the

collection - a portrait of the

fashion - as of the sitters

themselves. Prada has chosen to

contrast these with the work of

Japanese photographer Keizo

Kitajima, noted for his real and

dynamic street photography

from the 1970s through until

today.
