4) Adjustment for Joint Type or Branch Design, F JB —Established based on the following criteria.
— Threaded, socket weld, saddle on—F JB = 2.
— Saddle in fittings—F JB = 1.
— Piping tee, weldolets—F JB = 0.2.
— Sweepolets—F JB = 0.02.
5) Adjustment for Branch Diameter, F BD —Established based on the following criteria.
— All branches less than or equal to 2 NPS—F BD = 1.
— Any branch greater than 2 NPS—F BD = 0.02.
